First, you must install this module in your system for the <\/em>Odoo Xero Connector <\/em>to work correctly.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- \u2018odoo_xero_connector.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>
    4. Now, open the Odoo Apps and then click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on the \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018odoo_xero_connector.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>
    7. As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install\u2019<\/strong> to install it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      CREATING XERO DEVELOPER ACCOUNT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. To begin with, you first need to create a \u2018Xero Developer Account\u2019 <\/strong>by clicking on \u2018Sign Up\u2019<\/strong> at https:\/\/developer.xero.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. Now, fill in your details, verify the captcha, accept the terms and conditions, and click \u2018Next: Confirmation.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. In the next step, you\u2019ll receive a mail on your account click on the link present in the mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. Follow the steps mentioned on the screens and click \u2018Continue.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. On the next page, either \u2018Add Backup email or Add Backup Security Questions.\u2019<\/strong> Once done, click the \u2018Submit\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CREATING API FOR CONNECTION WITH ODOO<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      11. Now, log in to your Xero developer account, and visit the mentioned link https:\/\/developer.xero.com\/app\/manage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE:<\/em><\/strong> Remember to add <\/em>\u2018\/omas\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>at the end of the redirect URL. For example: www.odoo-dev.com\/omas<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      14. Once you create the app, go to \u2018Configuration\u2019<\/strong> and copy the \u2018Client ID and Generate a Secret ID.\u2019<\/strong> This client ID and secret ID will let you connect Odoo with Xero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURING AT ODOO END<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      15. Firstly, log in to the Odoo backend and go to \u2018Odoo Multi-Accounting.\u2019<\/strong> On the dashboard, you can view all the stats of imported and exported data and various charts and mapping data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Here, click \u2018Instance.\u2019<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      16. On the next page, click the \u2018Create\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      17. Now, enter the \u2018Instance Name,\u2019<\/strong> and in the \u2018API Credentials\u2019<\/strong> tab, enter the \u2018Client ID, Client Secret Key\u2019<\/strong> that you copied from Xero\u2019s configuration tab. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE: <\/strong>The redirect URL on Odoo and Xero end should be the same.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      18. Next, move to the \u2018Configuration\u2019<\/strong> tab and enter the details. Also, set the API limit, choose \u2018Currency Code,\u2019<\/strong> and select other attributes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE:<\/em><\/strong> To regulate and import\/export data, Xero has set an API call limit that you can know by clicking <\/em>here<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      19. In the \u2018Order State Mapping\u2019<\/strong> tab, click \u2018Add a Line\u2019<\/strong> to add state mapping details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      20. Next, go to the \u2018Crons\u2019<\/strong> tab, enable the required cron, and select the date. After that, click the \u2018Save\u2019<\/strong> and \u2018Connect Button.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      21. Clicking connect will redirect you to the Xero login page, and if already logged in, it will ask you to \u2018Allow Access\u2019<\/strong> to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      IMPORTING AND EXPORTING DATA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      22. After connecting, You will have three options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      22.1. Fetch Organizations-<\/strong> This option will let you fetch organization data present at the Xero end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      22.2. On successfully fetching, the following pop-up will show on the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      23. Now, click the \u2018Import\u2019<\/strong> buttons, choose the \u2018Instance and Object,\u2019<\/strong> and click the \u2018Import\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      23.1. On successful import, you will see the pop-up with import details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      24. After that, click the \u2018Export\u2019<\/strong> button, select \u2018Instance and Object,\u2019<\/strong> and click the \u2018Export\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      25. Once done, click the \u2018Mappings\u2019<\/strong> menu to view all mapping options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
