But how can you connect to your customers without much effort or installing any new chatting app?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To allow you to communicate with customers and vice versa, we have created Odoo Marketplace Whatsapp Live Chat<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It enables you to chat with customers in real-time. Further, the module uses WhatsApp, which most people use worldwide for chatting, so you don’t have to install any other chatting app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers can easily ask their queries, and sellers can answer them briefly. Moreover, you have control over everything means you can enable or disable any sellers’ chat anytime from the Odoo backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites for using Odoo Marketplace Whatsapp Live Chat<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Odoo Marketplace Whatsapp Live Chat module works in conjunction with the following module:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo WhatsApp Chat Integration<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must install the above-mentioned module to use Odoo Marketplace Whatsapp Live Chat.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Add a WhatsApp live chat option to the Odoo Marketplace website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Sellers can attend to customers\u2019 queries and questions through the live chat on the Marketplace website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The module adds a WhatsApp chat widget to the Odoo Marketplace website pages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. This widget shows all the sellers providing chat support over WhatsApp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Customers can select and send their queries to any seller via WhatsApp web.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Seller receives the WhatsApp message on their registered number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Sellers can configure their WhatsApp accounts during marketplace registration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Admin can enable or disable WhatsApp configuration option for sellers during registration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Widget shows only the relevant seller on specific product pages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Marketplace WhatsApp chat widget shows the list of all sellers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. You can also display sellers’ availability time to customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. Customers can choose a relevant seller to ask their query over chat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. From the Odoo backend, you can enable or disable the chat support of a seller.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  14. Only active sellers will appear on the WhatsApp chat widget on the Odoo Marketplace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  15. Sellers can manage their WhatsApp settings from their seller dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  16. Also, you can customize the UI of the Chat widget from the backend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  17. Further, set the background colors, opening message, tile, etc., of the WhatsApp chat widget.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip<\/strong> file<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- \u2018marketplace_whatsapp_live_chat<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open Odoo App<\/a> and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018marketplace_whatsapp_live_chat<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on \u2018Activate<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Workflow<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Configure WhatsApp Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. After Installing Odoo Marketplace Whatsapp Live Chat, Open the Odoo backend and go to ‘Website > WhatsApp > Settings’<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        2. Then, on the new page, click on the ‘New’<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        3. Next, fill in the details like position, heading title, and description in the ‘Description’<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. After that, in the ‘Design\/Layout’<\/strong> tab, choose the colors for different sections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        5. After ‘Design\/Layout’, configure ‘Time and Member Type’<\/strong> in the ‘Other Settings’. <\/strong>Once done, click the ‘Save’ button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        6. Following this, navigate to \u2018Whatsapp Support Team\u2019 by clicking on \u2018Whatsapp> Support Team<\/strong>\u2019 to view all members of the Whatsapp support team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        7. Then, go to ‘WhatsApp > Member Type’<\/strong> and click on the ‘New’<\/strong> button to create a new member type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        8. After that, go to ‘Settings > Marketplace > Other Settings > Configuration’<\/strong> and enable the option ‘Allow WhatsApp Configuration to Seller’<\/strong>. Click ‘Save’<\/strong> to apply the changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
