Odoo POS Order Discount module allows you to give a discount on the total POS cart amount to the customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Odoo user can create multiple discounts type in Odoo backend and assign them to a POS shop. The POS user can then select the discount in the running POS session and apply it to the entire order. The discount can be created for a fixed amount or as a percentage of total cart amount. The receipt also shows the applied discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FEATURES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The module allows the POS user to give a discount on the total order amount in the Odoo POS session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Odoo admin can create multiple discounts in the Odoo backend on the basis of a fixed amount, or as a&nbsp;percentage of total order cart amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The discount can be set to be tax inclusive or exclusive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Odoo admin can assign specific discounts to a POS. The POS user can see only those discounts in the running POS session which are assigned to his POS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The POS user can apply one global discount per order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTALLATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- <strong>&#8216;pos_order_discount&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo <strong>Add-Ons<\/strong> path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on <strong>Activate the Developer Mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, open on Apps menu and click on <strong>&#8216;Update Modules List&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the search bar, remove all the filters and search <strong>&#8216;pos_order_discount&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on <strong>&#8216;Install&#8217;<\/strong> to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WORKFLOW<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In Odoo, go to POS &gt;&gt; Configuration &gt;&gt; POS Discounts. Here, enter the display name for the discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Then under <strong>\u2018Discount Basis\u2019<\/strong> tab enter the amount and choose whether the discount is in percentage or fixed amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Here under discount, you can assign the created discounts to a POS. Only those discounts which are added to a POS are visible in the running session of that particular POS.
