Stripe is one of the profound payment gateways which permits merchant\/business owners to receive payments globally. It operates in multiple currencies and accepts almost every card. And what if you can use it in your Odoo?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Website Stripe Payment Gateway authorizes you to accept payments globally. Customers can choose the Stripe Payment gateway while checking out from your website. The Stripe payment gateway handles the transactions, stores card details, initiates full & partial refunds, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers can pay online directly on the Odoo website as it never redirects to Stripe resulting in a better experience. Every transaction detail of every order is recorded in the Odoo backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018payment_stripe_checkout.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018payment_stripe_checkout.\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Let\u2019s begin the configuration of the Odoo Website Stripe Payment Gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      CONFIGURATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

       1. After installation, go to \u2018Invoicing> Configuration> Payments> Payment Providers> Stripe Checkout.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. On the page, select \u2018State, Company, and Website.\u2019<\/strong> In the \u2018Credentials\u2019<\/strong> tab, enter the \u2018Secret Key and Publishable Key.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. In the \u2018Configuration\u2019<\/strong> tab, enter the \u2018Supported Payment Icons\u2019<\/strong> in the \u2018Payment Form\u2019<\/strong> option. In the \u2018Availability\u2019<\/strong> option, select \u2018Countries\u2019<\/strong> if you want to restrict the usage to particular countries. Select \u2018Payment Journal\u2019<\/strong> under \u2018Payment Followup.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.1. In the \u2018Payment Flow,\u2019<\/strong> you can choose from the available options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Redirection on the Acquirer Website-<\/strong> This option will allow customers to make payments on the Stripe payment page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Payment From Odoo-<\/strong> It will not redirect the user to the Stripe payment page. Instead, it will let customers make payments from the Odoo Checkout page via a popup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. From the \u2018Fees\u2019<\/strong> tab, you can add extra fees as per requirement. On enabling the \u2018Add Extra Fees\u2019<\/strong> option, you will get various options under it, which you can configure as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. The \u2018Message\u2019<\/strong> tab allows you to configure the various message to be displayed to customers on different actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      MAKING PAYMENT USING THE STRIPE PAYMENT GATEWAY<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      7. On the website, add a product to the cart and proceed to the checkout page. Here, you can see the Stripe Checkout option with all the configured cards. Also, you can check the box next to \u2018Save my Payment Details.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8.1. If you have selected the \u2018Redirection on the Acquirer Website,\u2019<\/strong> you will be redirected to the Stripe payment page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8.2. If you have chosen \u2018Payment From Odoo,\u2019 <\/strong>the following popup will appear on the screen. Enter the details and click the \u2018Pay Now\u2019<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. Once the payment is successful, you will be notified on the checkout page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      VIEWING PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      NOTE: <\/em><\/strong>The payment Transaction option will only be visible in the <\/em>\u2018Debug\u2019<\/em><\/strong> mode. Hence, enable it to view Payment Transactions.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      10. After completing the payment, move to \u2018Invoicing> Configuration> Payments> Payment Transactions.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
