From here, the admin can configure the module settings, add group buying plans, view groups orders, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731499756.png\" alt=\"group sale\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">PrestaShop Group Buy Configuration<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Under General Settings, the admin can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose to show list or grid view selector on the product purchasing group page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the default view of customer groups as list or grid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the number of groups to show per page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the order statuses on which the group orders will be marked as complete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allow customers to create a group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enable the feature of adding the same product to multiple group buying plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731502474.png\" alt=\"general settings\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disable minimum purchase total for group order<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In PrestaShop, the admin can set minimum purchase total required to complete the order under &#8220;Order Settings&#8221; tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731648094.png\" alt=\"ordr settings\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If the admin has enabled the option &#8220;Disable minimum purchase total for group order&#8221;, then a group do not have follow the minimum purchase total criteria to complete the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mail Settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731649212.png\" alt=\"mail settings\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Mail Settings, the admin can choose to send email to group members when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Group becomes active.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Group is cancelled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The group completes their purchase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Group is deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the admin can choose to receive email notification when the group completes the purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Create Group Buy Plans<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on &#8220;Add new plan&#8221; button to create a new plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731649939.png\" alt=\"add plan\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On clicking the &#8216;Add new plan&#8217; button, two tabs appear on the page. One is &#8216;Information&#8217; and the other is &#8216;Actions&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731651399.png\" alt=\"add group buy plan\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Search product:<\/strong> Search the products that you want to add to the plan using initial letters of the product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Plan name: <\/strong>Enter name of the plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quantity:<\/strong> Set the quantity that group needs to add to the cart to complete the purchase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum quantity by each member:<\/strong> Set the maximum quantity that a member of the group can add to the cart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum checkout time after group quantity fulfilled:<\/strong> The option lets admin set the days and time in which the group needs to complete the purchase after adding quantity to the cart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expiration date:<\/strong> Set the expiry date and time of the plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Actions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Actions, the admin can set the discount that he wants to offer to the group customers who buy products added to this plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731654042.png\" alt=\"actions\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The admin can set discount in terms of fixed amount, percentage, or set the custom discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731654472.png\" alt=\"discount\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731654471.png\" alt=\"discount\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once added, the admin can view it under Group Sale Plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731655140.png\" alt=\"group buying plan\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><div class=\"block-wrap\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading index-title\">Front End Flow<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The details of a plan and an option to create a buying group are available on the product details page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731656189.png\" alt=\"group sale plan\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If the admin has disabled &#8220;Allow customer to create group&#8221; adds the product<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A customer can simply click on create group button and fill in the following details to create a new product purchasing group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Group name<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Visibility:<\/strong> Customer can set visibility of the group as public or private.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If selected public, then any customer can join the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of private, only those customers can join who will get the invitation from the customer who created the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731671016.png\" alt=\"create group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After creating the product purchasing group, a customer can add products to the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731674052.png\" alt=\"add group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After the installation of the module, a new tab &#8220;Sale Groups&#8221; gets available in customer&#8217;s account where he can view product buying groups he has created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731674645.png\" alt=\"sale group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Sales Groups, the customer can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the status of buying group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send invite link to other customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>View quantity required to complete the purchase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delete the group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731676054.png\" alt=\"sale groups\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On clicking the &#8216;Invite&#8217; button, a popup appears on the page where the customer can copy the invite link and send it to other customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the customer can share the group information on social media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731676558.png\" alt=\"group invite link\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2nd customer joins the group created by 1st customer &amp; adds the product<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When any other customer visits the product page, they will see the following two options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They can either join an existing product purchasing group or create a new one. The process will be the same if they want to create a new group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731906814.png\" alt=\"join group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the &#8216;JOIN&#8217; button to join the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After joining the group, a customer gets the option to add the products to the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731907342.png\" alt=\"add products to group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now after adding the product to the group, the group becomes active &amp; an option to check out is also available to the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is because the quantity that is required in order to proceed to checkout is fulfilled &amp; the group is now active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, please note that the ordering process of the customers of the group is not dependent on each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every customer of the group will be able to place their order as soon as the group becomes active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731907769.png\" alt=\"add to group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purchasing Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This particular customer i.e.,&nbsp;<strong>John Doe<\/strong>&nbsp;can now proceed for checkout &amp; pay for its added product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731908787.png\" alt=\"sale group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On clicking the &#8216;Members&#8217; button, a popup appears on the page where the customer can view a list of group members and quantity of products added by them to cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731909292.png\" alt=\"members\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If a member tries adding more quantity than the maximum quantity set by the admin while creating a group sales plan, then an error message will appear on the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731910033.png\" alt=\"group sale plan\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731910277.png\" alt=\"members\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Customer can buy the product following the standard procedure of PrestaShop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, you may notice that the total price of the product is $19.12 only. It\u2019s because of the 20% discount on the original price applied cause of the purchasing plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731910429.png\" alt=\"checkout\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is some change in the order confirmation page because of the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The details of the order of the other members of the groups are also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case, the 1st customer has not yet completed the purchase, so there is no order number available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731911286.png\" alt=\"order confirmation page\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1st customer proceeds to complete the purchase<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, 1st customer i.e.,&nbsp;<strong>John Doe<\/strong>&nbsp;also proceeds to complete his purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731913598.png\" alt=\"sale group\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731913816.png\" alt=\"checkout\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once order is placed, both the order numbers gets available on the order confirmation page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is because both customers of the group completed their purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731914284.png\" alt=\"order confirmation page\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the status of an order changes to status required to complete the order, the status of the product purchasing group changes to&nbsp;<strong>complete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731914990.png\" alt=\"sale groups\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order details of orders of customer 1 &amp; customer 2<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Two separate orders are created as each customer placed the order separately from their accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/storecdn.webkul.com\/showcase\/590\/1731915648.png\" alt=\"orders\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A new block &#8220;Group sale information&#8221; gets available on order details page.
