Order attachments have the best use in real-time, such as uploading attachments for medicines, orders for guns or heavy machinery requiring a license, or other types of drug products, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the marketplace order attachment, the seller can also update the attachment. After placing the order, the customer can upload the file from the order page. Supporting the format as selected by the admin \u2013 PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, JPG, PNG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, add multiple files to products to increase the information provided on the product page using the Magento 2 Product Attachment<\/a> extension.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Important Note –<\/strong> This is an add-on of Webkul’s Magento 2 Multi Vendor Module<\/strong><\/a>, so you need to install Marketplace modules first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Check a brief overview of the add-on – <\/p>\n\n\n\n Customers will get a zip folder<\/strong> and they have to extract the contents of this zip folder on their system. The extracted folder has an src<\/strong> folder, inside the src folder you have the app<\/strong> folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You need to transfer this app<\/strong> folder into the Magento 2 root directory on the server as per below image<\/p>\n\n\n\n After the successful installation, you have to run these commands in the Magento 2 root directory<\/p>\n\n\n\n First Command<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Second Command \u2013 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Third Command \u2013 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n After running the commands, you have to flush the cache from the Magento admin panel by navigating through \u201cSystem->Cache Management\u201d<\/strong> as shown below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For Multilingual support, please navigate to Store > Configuration > General > Locale Options<\/strong>. And select your desired language from the Locale <\/strong>option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After the successful installation of the module Marketplace Order Attachments for Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce), the admin can configure this module under Store > Configuration > Webkul > Marketplace Order Attachments <\/strong>as shown below snapshot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n General Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Email-settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Enabled<\/strong> -Here, the admin can choose between \u201cYes\u201d <\/strong>to enable the module or \u201cNo\u201d <\/strong>to disable the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n File Max Size<\/strong> \u2013 The admin can set attachment file size in MB (File size greater than 0 and less than 10 MB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Max File Upload Limit \u2013 <\/strong>The admin can select the max file upload limit as manual, <\/strong>or automatic. <\/strong>When selected as manual, <\/strong>the admin can set the max number of attachment files that the customer can upload (Maximum files can be uploaded 30 and minimum 1 )<\/p>\n\n\n\n When selected as automatic,<\/strong> customers will be able to upload the files as per the products they have in their cart for which order attachments are required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Extension Supported<\/strong> \u2013 <\/strong><\/em>The admin can select file extensions\/formats (PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, DOC, DOCX) only those format of files, the customer can add\/attach along with orders<\/p>\n\n\n\n Attachment Notifications To Admin \u2013 <\/strong>The admin can select yes <\/strong>if the admin wants to receive notifications when a customer attached the file with the order else select no<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Email Setting \u2013 <\/strong>The admin can select the customer email template <\/strong>and admin email template <\/strong>as per their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On adding a New Product or on Editing a product, the admin can configure \u2018Yes\u2019 or \u2018No\u2019 against the \u201cAttachment Required\u201d<\/strong> field as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If required then the admin can choose the field as \u201d Yes\u201d else as \u201cNo\u201d, For new product as shown below.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n For existing product<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once the customer places the order, the admin can navigate through Sales > Orders > View <\/strong>to view order attachment files as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Then, the admin can view attachment files under the \u201cOrder Attachments<\/strong>\u201d tab as shown in the image below. Here Admin can update the expiry date \/ set them along with the view comment too as per the given image below respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here in below image admin can view the comment<\/p>\n\n\n\n After adding the attachment, the admin will have three attachment statuses (approve, disapprove, and delete). The admin can select the attachment and change the status of the attachment as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Approve<\/strong> \u2013 if the admin accepts the attachment, customers will get notified on email<\/p>\n\n\n\n Disapprove<\/strong> \u2013 If the admin does not accept the attachment. they can disapprove it<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delete<\/strong> \u2013 If the admin wants to delete the attachment file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Upload Attachment for Customer<\/strong> – The admin can upload the attachments for the customer, once the customer has uploaded the same from their end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By navigating to Pending Order Attachments <\/strong>from the Order Attachments <\/strong>menu in the admin panel the admin can view all the pending attachments of pending orders as shown in the image below \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the admin sets the \u201cAttachments Required\u201d<\/strong> as \u2018Yes<\/strong>\u2018 in the backend, then the customer will be able to see the Attachment Required<\/strong> in the cart of that particular product which required the attachment as shown in the image below<\/p>\n\n\n\n The customer needs to click on the select attachment icon and select file as per the given parameter. One can add an attachment to check out page also as per given below image<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the customer selects \u201d Yes, I will add now<\/strong>\u201d then the customer will have to add the attachment before<\/strong> placing the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The customer will have to click on the \u201cplus<\/strong>\u201d sign so as to add the attachment files and place the order in a usual way as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If the customer selects \u201d No, I will add later<\/strong>\u201d then the customer can add attachment files after placing the order<\/p>\n\n\n\n For an order, the customers can also add the attachments under \u201cMy Orders<\/strong>\u201d section as shown in the image below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once the order is place with or without attachments the seller can see the notification on My Order History <\/strong>as per the image below<\/p>\n\n\n\n From the above image when seller click on view orde<\/strong>r details will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By clicking on “pending order attachments”<\/strong> seller can view the pending order of pending attachment as per the given image below<\/p>\n\n\n\n In My Order History <\/strong>Once the invoice is generated the order status will be Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the Pending Order<\/strong> when the seller clicks on any pending order then on View Order<\/strong> below image will appear<\/p>\n\n\n\n After clicking on Order Attachment<\/strong> from the above image below image will appear, the seller can perform approve, disprove and delete actions and can also Set \/Remove Expiry on the <\/strong>attachment<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the above image by clicking on Set \/Remove Expiry<\/strong> seller can select the expiry date of the attachment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the above image there are two process i.e. View Comment and action. In below image seller can view comment by clicking on View Comment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n By Click on Actions filed<\/strong> below image Actions drop down will appear<\/p>\n\n\n\n From drop-down option Disapprove action is selected then below image will appear<\/p>\n\n\n\n After filling in the reason for disapproving the attachment seller will get the below image<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hence, the Attachment Order status will be shown as per the image below<\/p>\n\n\n\n When the seller click on the My Order list all orders will appear as per below image<\/p>\n\n\n\n When the seller clicks on View Order and then Order Attachment the below image will appear with the following status<\/p>\n\n\n\n * Green box means the attachment is approved by the admin.
