Each tenant builds its own delivery calendar. Moreover, nothing a tenant creates is ever visible to another tenant on the same installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Customers pick a convenient day and window while placing the order. Afterwards, they can see that choice again in their order history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Unzip the respective extension zip and then merge “packages”<\/strong> folder into the project root directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This extension needs the base Bagisto Delivery Time Slot<\/strong> package as well, so merge both packages before continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Goto bootstrap\/providers.php<\/strong> file and add the following lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The install command migrates the tables, publishes the assets and clears the cache in one go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s it, now just execute the project on your specified domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step: Installing the Extension<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n
Unzip both extension archives and merge the packages<\/strong> folder into your project root.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Open bootstrap\/providers.php<\/strong> and register both service providers after SAASCustomizer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Open composer.json<\/strong> and add the two PSR-4 autoload entries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Open config\/concord.php<\/strong> and add the Delivery Time Slot module service provider.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Run composer dump-autoload<\/strong> from the project root.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Run php artisan saas-delivery-time-slot:install<\/strong> to finish the setup.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

Tenant Subscription<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Before a tenant can use the module, it needs an active subscription plan. Otherwise every admin route redirects to the subscription overview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tenant opens Billing >> Plans<\/strong> and chooses a plan as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The super admin can also decide which plans include this extension, so delivery slots become a paid feature when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step: Activating a Plan<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n
Log in to the tenant admin panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Go to Billing >> Plans<\/strong> from the left sidebar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Review the listed plans and their allowances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click Choose<\/strong> on the plan you want to activate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Confirm the plan now appears under Billing >> Overview<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
To configure the module the admin\/tenant needs to navigate to the Configure >> Delivery Time Slot >> Settings<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the Delivery Time Setting<\/strong> section the admin\/tenant can configure the module as shown in the image below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Enable:-<\/strong> The admin\/tenant can enable or disable the module for their own store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Allowed Days<\/strong> \u2013 Select the weekdays the store delivers on. Consequently, a window on any other weekday never reaches the checkout page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Display Total Days<\/strong> \u2013 Enter how many delivery dates to display at checkout. For example, a value of five shows the next five dates that actually have windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Display Time Format<\/strong> \u2013 Choose whether the windows appear in a 12 hour or a 24 hour format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Error Message<\/strong> \u2013 Enter the message that will be visible if there is no time slot available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saving this form also adds the Delivery Time Slot<\/strong> entry to the sidebar menu, where the tenant manages the slots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step: Configuring the Module<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n
Go to Configure<\/strong> in the tenant admin sidebar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Open the Delivery Time Slot<\/strong> settings group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Turn the Enable<\/strong> switch on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Select the weekdays under Allowed Days<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Enter a value in Display Total Days<\/strong> and pick a Display Time Format<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Write an Error Message<\/strong>, then click Save Configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Default Delivery Time Slots<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Now the admin\/tenant needs to navigate to the Delivery Time Slot<\/strong> that is available in the sidebar menu as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
In the Minimum days required in order processing for shipment<\/strong> field, the tenant sets how much notice each order needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Above the list, the Month<\/strong>, Year<\/strong> and Status<\/strong> filters narrow the view. In addition, Expand All<\/strong> opens every date group at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each date group shows its windows with the time range, the booking count and the status. Furthermore, Add Slot<\/strong> appends another window to that same date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A window that already has orders against it shows Has bookings \u2014 deactivate instead of deleting<\/strong>, so a customer never loses a booked slot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To create windows for a new date, the tenant clicks the Generate Slots<\/strong> button as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The generator takes a date, a start and end time, and a quota. Additionally, it rejects any window that overlaps another on the same date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open Delivery Time Slot >> Default Delivery Time Slots<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click the Generate Slots<\/strong> button at the top right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Pick the delivery date<\/strong> in the dialog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Enter the start time<\/strong>, the end time<\/strong> and the booking quota<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click Create Slots<\/strong> and wait for the confirmation message.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Use Add Slot<\/strong> on the date group to append a second window, or Copy to\u2026<\/strong> to reuse the whole day elsewhere.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Zip Codes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Each tenant also maintains the areas it delivers to. Therefore, the Zip Codes<\/strong> screen lists the serviceable ranges as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
A range added here belongs to that tenant only. As a result, one tenant editing its areas never changes delivery availability for another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To add a range the tenant clicks Create New<\/strong> and fills the short form shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Zip From<\/strong> and Zip To<\/strong> define the range, while Status<\/strong> decides whether it is active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step: Adding a Zip Code Range<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n
Open Delivery Time Slot >> Zip Codes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click the Create New<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Enter the starting value in Zip From<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Enter the ending value in Zip To<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Set Status<\/strong> to Active<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click Save Zip Code<\/strong> to store the range.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
Delivery Orders<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Under this the admin\/tenant can find all the orders that have made by the customers as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The grid lists the order, the customer, the status and the booked delivery date with its time range. Moreover, the list is filterable and searchable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By clicking on the Order ID the admin\/tenant can see the details for the order as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The slot appears beside the usual order information, so support staff can see the promised delivery window immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step: Reviewing a Delivery Order<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n
Open Delivery Time Slot >> Delivery Orders<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Use the Search<\/strong> box or the Filter<\/strong> panel to find an order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Check the Delivery Date<\/strong> and time columns on the row.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click the Order ID<\/strong> link to open the full order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Read the Delivery Date\/Day<\/strong> block on the order view.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

Super Admin View<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
The super admin gets a read only panel for the extension under Configure >> Sales >> Shipping Methods<\/strong> as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Module Information names the installed package and its version. Besides that, it states plainly how the module separates delivery data between tenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nobody edits a tenant\u2019s slots from this screen. Instead, each tenant configures its own calendar, which keeps the super admin out of tenant data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step: Opening the Module Panel<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n
Log in to the super admin panel at \/super\/login<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click Configure<\/strong> in the sidebar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Open Sales >> Shipping Methods<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Read the Delivery Time Slot<\/strong> module information panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

Front End<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
On the product page, the customer can check whether the store delivers to their area before adding anything to the cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The customer enters a zip code and clicks Check Availability<\/strong>. Subsequently, the widget lists every window serving that area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the area falls outside every range, the widget says so instead of listing windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the time of checkout, the customer will also be able to see the available delivery days and time slots as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The picker appears above the shipping methods, so the customer chooses when they want delivery before deciding how it ships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each window shows how many bookings are left. Likewise, a window that already filled up appears greyed out and refuses selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
**Note<\/strong>: The time slots<\/strong> will be unavailable <\/strong>in two conditions<\/strong> \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
Orders are full <\/strong>(i.e, if the quota set for each of the slots gets full).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
The delivery date falls inside the minimum days required in order processing<\/strong> set by the tenant.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
After the order is placed, the customer can find it under their account as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The customer will be able to see the delivery details under each order <\/strong>shown below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The chosen date and window sit next to the shipping method, which keeps the delivery promise visible after the purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step: Booking a Delivery Slot<\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n
Open a product on the tenant storefront.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Enter a zip code and click Check Availability<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Add the product to the cart and continue to checkout.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Save or select a billing address, then click Proceed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Pick a date under Choose a date<\/strong> in the Delivery Time Slot block.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Pick a window under Choose a time<\/strong>, then select a shipping and payment method.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Click Place Order<\/strong> to confirm the booking.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
