In this blog, we will learn how the admin can create an order in Shopware 6. Shopware\u00a0is a leading Germany-based e-commerce platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will see how admin adds the product, price, and tax and then, at last, we see how the order will be placed by admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shopware 6 – Create Order by Admin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create an order in Shopware 6, you have to log in to the admin page. And then go to the Shopware 6\u00a0Dashboard\u00a0and click on Order>Overview>Add order menu.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now click on the add order button, and a new page will open here admin can add a new order. The screen for creating a new order is divided into two sections,\u00a0details\u00a0and\u00a0Items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add Customer Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the details, you first enter the general information about the customer and the order. For this purpose, you first select the\u00a0customer for whom you want to create the order. If the order is to be placed for a person who is not yet a customer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the customer is not added then you click on Add new customer. A popup will get open where you have to fill in the details of customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the customer is already then select the customer form drop-down of the customer menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to change the billing and\/or delivery address for an existing customer, you can do this by clicking on the respective\u00a0edit button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also adjust the following points<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Order language:\u00a0Here you specify the language in which the e-mails and documents should be created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment method: Define the payment method to be used. You can choose from the payment types available for the sales channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currency: Select from the currencies released for the sales channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shipping method: Select a shipping method from the settings available for the sales channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Search Items<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can then add products to\u00a0your order in the items section. In the\u00a0search field only searches within the items that are in this\u00a0particular\u00a0order. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add product<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To add a product to the order, here you can click on add product then a new row will get open. In it, you can select the product and fill in the detail and then click on the save button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, you can also add a custom product. And you can add the detail for the product like price, quantity and tax and then click on the save button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
