INTRODUCTION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Redis is an in-memory data structure store, used as a database, cache, and message broker. It supports data structures such as strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets with range queries, bitmaps, hyperlogs, geospatial indexes with radius queries and streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Redis has built-in replication, Lua scripting, LRU eviction, transactions, and different levels of on-disk persistence, and provides high availability via Redis Sentinel and automatic partitioning with Redis Cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Redis session store allows Odoo admin to save in Redis In-Memory Database (IMDB) sessions data. In-memory data storage provides quicker access and better maintenance compared to conventional databases on disk storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also increases cache performance as the number of sessions on your server increases which reduces server load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Odoo Redis Session module provides the necessary structure to help you configure Redis with your Odoo server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The module allows you to save the Odoo sessions on In-memory Redis Store on the same server or a third party service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Since the cache is stored on Main memory instead of disk storage, accessing this data becomes much faster.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018wk_redis_session\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open on Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018wk_redis_session\u2019<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install\u2019<\/strong> to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Firstly, login to the odoo portal to go to the settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
