What Is Odoo Employee Overtime Based On Work Reports?<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is your staff often working beyond their usual hours on most days of the week? Managing that overtime by hand is a real problem for many HR teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overtime clearly shows the extra effort your employees put into their daily work. That is why you need to manage their overtime work reports well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Employee Overtime Based On Work Reports helps you manage employee overtime in Odoo and check overtime hours with ease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tracking the time spent on each task is also a tough job, so many teams look for an automated way to handle it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this module, employees can submit their daily overtime report for approval directly from Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also gives a summary of overtime reporting, so you can see how often your team works overtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Features of Odoo Employee Overtime Based On Work Reports<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
  1. Employee Reporting Managers or Department Reporting Managers can approve or reject a work report.<\/li>
  2. Employees can send their daily work report for overtime using this app.<\/li>
  3. Only the employee\u2019s coach can mark a work report as completed or deny it.<\/li>
  4. Reports are marked on the basis of half-day or full-day working.<\/li>
  5. Only completed reports are reflected on the payslip of the employee.<\/li>
  6. Employees are notified about the current status of their work report.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How to Install Odoo Employee Overtime Based On Work Reports<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1.) Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
    2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018hr_payroll_overtime<\/strong>\u2019.
    3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons <\/strong>path.
    4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode<\/strong>.
    5.) Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>\u2019.
    6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018hr_payroll_overtime<\/strong>\u2019.
    7.) You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Overtime Approval Workflow in Odoo<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
    \n

    Send a Work Report for Overtime Approval (Employee End)<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1) Firstly, log in to your Odoo database and go to the ‘Project<\/strong>‘ module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2) Then go to \u2018All Task<\/strong>\u2019. Click on the \u2018Create<\/strong>‘ button to create a new task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3) Click on the ‘Start<\/strong>‘ button to start the task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Click on the ‘Stop<\/strong>‘ button to stop the task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4) Once you are done with your task, you can send your report for approval of working overtime. Tick the checkbox for \u2018Request for Approval<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Approve, Complete or Deny Overtime Reports (Manager End)<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    5) You can also \u2018Request for approval<\/strong>\u2019 from Employees>>Daily Work Report>>Daily Reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6) Once the user has sent the report for \u2018Request for Approval<\/strong>\u2019, it will be visible at the Admin end. You need to go to Employee>>Daily Work Report>> Need Approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7) All the reports will be visible on the \u2018Need Approval<\/strong>\u2019 page. All the reports with status \u2018Pending<\/strong>\u2019, \u2018Done<\/strong>\u2019, and \u2018Approved<\/strong>\u2019 will be visible here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8) The Admin will \u2018Complete<\/strong>\u2019 or \u2018Deny<\/strong>\u2019 the report sent for \u2018Request For Approval<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9) Once you click the \u2018Complete<\/strong>\u2019 button, a pop-up will appear. Click on the \u2018Done Now<\/strong>\u2019 button to approve the report for \u2018Request for approval<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10) You can deny an approved report by clicking on the \u2018Deny<\/strong>\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11) A pop-up will appear to confirm the denial of the work report. Click on the \u2018OK<\/strong>\u2019 button to deny the work report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
