Pre Installation Requirements-:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1. LAMP should be installed on the system with mysql-server-5.6 (Updated version).<\/p>\n

2. MOD_REWRITE should be enabled on the system.<\/p>\n

3. All Files of magento2 should have 600 and directories have 700 permissions.<\/p>\n

4. Apache user and the owner of Magento2 directory should be the same. (Magento2 should run with the apache user).<\/p>\n

5. If you have apache root directory setup on some different location other than \u201c\/var\/www\u201d then you have to replace the \/var\/www with your apache root directory.<\/p>\n

Installation Steps -:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1. LAMP installation.<\/p>\n

2. Enable mod_rewrite by executing command in terminal<\/p>\n

sudo a2enmod rewrite.<\/pre>\n
3. Now open the apache2.conf file<\/p>\n
sudo nano \/etc\/apache2\/apache2.conf<\/pre>\n
and search for something like given below-:<\/p>\n
<Directory \/var\/www>\r\n\r\nOptions Indexes FollowSymLinks\r\n\r\nAllowOverride None\r\n\r\nRequire all granted\r\n\r\n<\/Directory><\/pre>\n
now replace the above as follows (do not use {})-:<\/p>\n
<Directory \/var\/www >\r\n\r\nOptions Indexes FollowSymLinks\r\n\r\nAllowOverride {All}\r\n\r\nRequire all granted\r\n\r\n<\/Directory><\/pre>\n
4. Restart the apache service by<\/p>\n
sudo \/etc\/init.d\/apache2 restart<\/pre>\n
5. Now install composer by executing given below commands in your terminal.<\/p>\n
apt-get update\r\n\r\napt-get install git wget\r\n\r\nwget -O \/usr\/local\/bin\/composer http:\/\/getcomposer.org\/composer.phar\r\n\r\nchmod +x \/usr\/local\/bin\/composer<\/pre>\n
6. Download the magento2 from git by executing given below commands-:<\/p>\n
cd \/var\/www\r\n\r\ngit clone https:\/\/github.com\/magento\/magento2.git\r\n\r\ncd \/var\/www\/magento2\r\n\r\ncomposer install<\/pre>\n
Now if your apache user and owner of magento2 file is same then you can skip point 7 and 8<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
7. Change the ownership of magento2 by executing given below command for example-:<\/p>\n
you have username \u201cmagtest\u201d then your command should be<\/p>\n
chown magtest -R \/var\/www\/magento2<\/pre>\n
8. Now change the user of apache server for example you have the username \u201cmagtest\u201d.<\/p>\n
open the envvars file by executing-:<\/p>\n
sudo nano \/etc\/apache2\/envvars<\/pre>\n
now find \u201cexport APACHE_RUN_USER=www-data<\/strong>\u201d and replace the www-data with \u201cmagtest\u201d user<\/p>\n
then it should look like<\/p>\n
\u201cexport APACHE_RUN_USER=magtest<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n
save the file by ctrl+x <\/b><\/p>\n
9. Restart the apache server by executing<\/p>\n
 sudo \/etc\/init.d\/apache2 restart<\/pre>\n
10. Now install the magento2 by accessing the URL-: http:\/\/localhost\/magento2<\/p>\n
