This Guide is dedicated to letting you aware of all the new updates of the Seller menu of the Multi-Vendor Marketplace App<\/a> for Shopify. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please keep following and tracking the Seller Updates<\/strong> to know about all the updates in the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have a look at the newly introduced and updated features of the Seller menu of Multi vendor Marketplace app for Shopify:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update Seller Handle<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When a new seller gets registered to your marketplace, it creates a seller handle for the particular seller profile page that is same as the seller name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suppose your seller name is “Test Vendor”<\/strong>, a seller profile page link will be created for that seller with seller handle “test-vendor”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By default, the seller name will be added as seller handle for respective seller. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, we have provided an option in the app through which you can update the seller handle for your seller profile page<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this, visit the Multi-vendor admin panel>>Configuration>>Seller Configuration>>Enable the Update Seller Handle<\/span> tab>>Save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, visit the Sellers <\/strong>menu>>Seller Listing<\/strong> sub-menu>>Edit <\/strong>seller>>Enable the Update Seller Handle<\/span> tab and edit the handle>>Save changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is how you can update seller handle in the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restrict Seller To Disable Feedback<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the Multi-vendor Marketplace app, the customers will have the option to provide feedback to a seller from the seller profile page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, by default, the seller feedback won’t be visible until it is enabled by the seller. Once enabled, the seller feedback will appear on the seller profile page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can later be disabled from the seller panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, you can restrict your sellers to disable the “Feedbacks received from the customers” i.e Hide the “Disable” option<\/strong> on the seller end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting the Configuration>>Seller Configuration<\/span><\/strong> menu, disable the tab “Restrict Seller To Disable Feedback”. And disallow sellers to disable the seller feedbacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as you disable<\/strong> the above configuration, the sellers won’t get the option to disable the feedback from their respective seller panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAB DISABLED<\/span> i.e. Restricted sellers to hide the feedbacks received from the customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seller Zip code on Seller profile page<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

You can now display the seller zipcode with the seller’s address on the seller profile page of your store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can check the seller zipcode variable in the “Edit Theme” section in the app. Go to Sellers>>Seller Profile Page Settings>>Themes>>Learn More<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PUBLISH\/UNPUBLISH SELLER PROFILE PAGE<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Admin can now decide whether he wants the seller profile of an individual seller to show up on the frontend or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this, visit Multivendor Admin Panel > Sellers > Seller Listing > Edit Seller. On the following page, you’ll this option. Refer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Informative Seller Dashboard<\/h3><\/div>

Much more informative dashboard showing Total Seller, Recent Orders and their fulfillment status and details of Total sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restrict Seller Signup<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

If you want to restrict new members to signup on your marketplace, you can enable the Restrict Seller Signup<\/strong> from the Seller Configuration<\/strong> page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After enabling this feature, the Join Now<\/strong> button will be hidden from the seller login page<\/strong>. Refer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit: Multivendor Admin Panel<\/strong> > Configuration<\/strong> > Seller Configuration<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, you can enable the following functionality. Refer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: <\/strong>The admin can still add new sellers from his own marketplace admin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seller Email Verification<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

If a seller registered to your marketplace is somehow not verified or missed the email verification email can now be verified via the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit: Multivendor Admin Panel<\/strong> > Configuration<\/strong> > Seller Configuration<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By enabling this option, the seller whose email is not verified after registration will get an email verification link on the seller dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After enabling this option, if a seller’s email is not verified, that seller will have the “Email Verification Link<\/strong>” on his\/her seller dashboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clicking on it, the seller will get redirected to another page and get their emails verified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this feature, you can check if your newly registered seller is verified or not.
Go to the Seller Listing <\/strong>section and check the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seller Profile Page BANNER<\/h3><\/div>
\n

Now, the Seller profile page on the front end will have the banner for his shop. Both admin and seller can upload the banner from their respective panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can upload a default banner for the sellers to be displayed on the “Seller Profile Page Settings” section of the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admin Panel>>Sellers>>Seller Profile Page Settings>>Upload Banner (either Image or Video)>>Save Changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Video on the Seller Profile page<\/h3><\/div>

Yes, now you and your sellers can add the video on the place of the banner on the seller\u2019s profile page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seller Rating Star Color<\/h3><\/div>

You can now select the color of the rating star <\/strong>given to your sellers in the Multivendor app from the \u201cSeller Profile Page Settings\u201d menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the rating is given by the customers to your seller, the seller can view it on his profile page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You as an admin can select the color of the rating star and view it on the Seller profile page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Follow the procedure to set the rating star color:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admin panel >> Sellers >> Sellers Profile Page Settings (from the drop-down menu) >> \u201cSeller Rating Star Color\u201d >> Select the \u201cStart color\u201d and \u201cEnd color\u201d of the star >> Click on \u201cSave\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Default \u201cSort By\u201d for Seller Profiles<\/h3><\/div>

This upgraded feature of the Multivendor app will help the admin to select the by default \u201cSort By\u201d for the seller profile pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you set this from the \u201cSeller Profile Page Settings\u201d submenu, you can view it on the profile pages of your sellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Login As Seller<\/h3><\/div>

You as an admin will now have the access to login seller dashboards directly from your admin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, you need to enable the option from the General Configuration <\/strong>menu of the app.
Multi-vendor admin panel>>Configuration<\/strong>>>General Configuration<\/strong>>>Enable Option>>Save<\/strong> Changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once enabled, visit the Seller Listing <\/strong>section and click the \u201cLogin as Seller<\/strong>\u201d from the Action menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multi-vendor Admin Panel>>Sellers<\/strong>>>Seller Listing<\/strong>>>Click Login as Seller <\/strong>(Action menu).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clicking this button, the seller will be redirected to the respective seller panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that the sellers will be notified every time you’ll log in to their account using this option.

Display Seller’s Store Logo Carousel on Homepage<\/h3><\/div>

You can now get an option to add a logo carousel to the home page of your store. For this, you need to follow the below-given steps:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to the admin panel of the Multi-vendor app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
