    INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<\/em><\/li>
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018<\/em>hermes_delivery_carrier<\/em><\/strong>\u2019.<\/em><\/li>
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/em><\/li>
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<\/em><\/li>
    5. Then, open on Apps menu and click on \u2018<\/em>Update Modules List<\/em><\/strong>\u2019.<\/em><\/li>
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018<\/em>hermes_delivery_carrier<\/em><\/strong>\u2019.You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on <\/em>\u2018Install\u2019<\/em><\/strong> to install it.<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      POINTS TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE USING HERMES SHIPPING INTEGRATION MODULE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Please keep the following points in mind to prevent getting an error message while placing a delivery with Hermes Shipping Integration Carrier:
      <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1.) Valid Credentials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Please use the correct Hermes Courier credentials to configure the module to successfully generate the shipment in the Odoo backend and on the website.
      <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2.) Correct destination and sender address<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The addresses entered in the order for both user\/receiver and warehouse\/sender should be valid entries to process the shipping successfully. The addresses and range from the source to the destination would depend upon the type of service availed from Hermes Shipping by the Odoo admin.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.) A non-zero weight of the package<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The product added to Hermes Post Shipping should not have zero as the listed weight in the Odoo otherwise the shipment generation request returns an error from Hermes Shipping. To avoid this, the admin can also set a default weight to be automatically sent to the Hermes Shipping in case of the product in case the listed weight is zero.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4.) You need to put the product in a pack to generate a shipping label.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Note: Please click on the test environment while testing the module. Only \u2018Switch to production\u2019 when you are ready to go Live.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Configuring Hermes Shipping Carrier Service in Odoo<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      1) Login to your Odoo database and go to the Inventory;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2) Now, click on the \u201c<\/em>Configuration<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>Tab<\/em><\/strong>\u201d to go to the Delivery Methods<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3) Click on the \u201c<\/em>Create Button<\/em><\/strong>\u201d to create a Delivery Method.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4) Here, select the provider as Hermes. Then, set the integration level for the module- \u2018<\/em>Get Rate and Create Shipment<\/em><\/strong>\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5) You can restrict the Hermes delivery carrier to preferred countries, states or zip codes using the menu- <\/em>Destination availability<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6) After that, click on Extra to set the default values of different constraints. The chosen values would be automatically picked by the order to send to Hermes Delivery<\/strong> in case one or more of fields are not set while placing the order.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7) Now, go to the <\/em>\u201cHermes Credentials\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Tab and enter the Hermes credentials i.e. User Name and Password.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8) You need to publish the delivery method to make it available on the website.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Odoo Website frontend <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      9) Add any product to the cart and proceed to checkout.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10) On the Payment Page, select Hermes Delivery as the delivery method. Once selected the price shipping price is automatically calculated and added to the total cart value.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11) Click on the \u201c<\/em>Pay Now<\/em><\/strong>\u201d button to place the order <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In the Odoo Backend<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      12) Now, go to the Odoo Backend and open the order you placed from the frontend. Here, you can see the one order line for “Hermes”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      13) Now, Click on the delivery tab on the top-right side which has a truck-like icon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      14) Click on the “Put in Pack button<\/strong>” to create the packages<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      15) Now, click on the “Validate” button to validate the delivery<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
