Configurable Product<\/strong> is a group of simple products with different attribute options. When any customer purchases products online then they get the notice that the same product is available in various sizes, colors, materials and price points. These purchasing options are the variant product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Create Family Variant.<\/h3>

Before creating any family you need to create attributes and attribute groups in Akeneo. So to create attribute you have to first click on Setting>>Attributes>>Create Attribute<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, you have to select the attribute type there are 14 types of attributes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you selected the attribute type to fill the details like code, attribute group, label translation, enable value per channel and value per locale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After filling the details click to save button.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have created the attribute now we need to create attribute groups in which attributes are assign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create an attribute group click to Setting>>Attribute group>>Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fill the code & label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now click to save<\/strong> button, so there will be an option appears that would be Add Attribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click to Add Attribute, select the attributes to assign them in that attribute group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the attribute is added. Click to save button<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before creating configurable Products you need to add variant in the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create a family click to Setting>>Families>>Create Family<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here fill the code and click the save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you have to fill some details like attribute used as the label, attribute used as the main picture, and Label translation. There will be other options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
