Odoo Delivery Boy App<\/a> helps businesses manage daily deliveries from Odoo. Admins can assign orders, manage delivery staff, and follow delivery progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery staff can use the mobile app to view orders, update status, confirm deliveries, and record payments. The app keeps delivery data in sync with the backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built with Flutter, the app supports both Android and iOS devices. It helps delivery teams complete orders with less manual work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also convert your Odoo Multi Vendor Marketplace<\/a> website into a mobile app by using the Odoo Multi Vendor Mobile App<\/a> module. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Installation<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the Module’s zip<\/strong> file<\/strong>.
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- delivery_boy<\/strong>
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path<\/strong>.
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode<\/strong>.
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>.\u2019
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018delivery_boy\u2019<\/strong>
      <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on \u2018Activate<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Workflow<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      1.) Go to backend settings and open the Delivery Boy configuration section. Set the required options before using the mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2.) Open the app credentials settings and enter the required details. These credentials help connect the mobile app with the backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3.) Open the advanced settings to manage extra app options. Configure the required settings based on your delivery workflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4.) Review the extra configuration options available for the delivery app. Enable the required options for your delivery process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5.) Create a user account for the delivery staff in Odoo. Add the required user details and enable the delivery boy access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6.) \u00a0Open the delivery order in Odoo and select the Assign Delivery option. Choose the delivery staff who will handle the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7.) \u00a0Select the required delivery boy from the available users. Confirm the selection to assign the order.

      8.) If OTP verification is enabled, the delivery staff must verify the order before completing it. The customer provides the OTP for delivery confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9.) After successful verification, the delivery staff can complete the order. The delivery status is then updated in Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10.)Auto-validate delivery<\/strong>:  When enabled, this option automatically validates the delivery picking when the delivery boy marks the delivery as completed in the mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. Allow Delivery Boy Program<\/strong> : You can configure for the commission for each delivery boy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      12. Configuration <\/strong>: This button allows the delivery boys to directly sign up as the delivery boy (when enabled) via odoo delivery boy mobile app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      13.) Auto-Invoice<\/strong>: Enabling this option will create draft invoice for the picking once the order is delivered by delivery boy.

      14. In Default Delivery Boy Program set \u201cCommission type\u201d (Pay per order \/ Pay per product ), \u201cMatrix Type\u201d (Fixed \/ Percentage) and enter \u201cAmount\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      15.) In the Odoo, go to sales >> orders. Open any order. Go to delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      16.) Here, click on assign delivery boy to assign delivery of this order to a delivery boy.

          a) Go to dashboard >>pending.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

      20) Now, if token validation is enabled, the app would prompt for the token number to complete the delivery [refer 12(a)].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      21.) If not, then the order is marked as completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      22.) In the Odoo backend, the delivery is automatically validated if the settings allow. Otherwise, the Odoo user can manually validate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      23.) Similarly, if auto-invoice settings are enabled, the system automatically generates a draft invoice of the completed picking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
