{"id":168445,"date":"2019-04-12T04:08:27","date_gmt":"2019-04-12T04:08:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webkul.com\/blog\/?p=168445"},"modified":"2026-07-29T12:55:01","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T12:55:01","slug":"multivendor-marketplace-for-shopify-paypal-payout-payment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webkul.com\/blog\/multivendor-marketplace-for-shopify-paypal-payout-payment\/","title":{"rendered":"Multivendor Marketplace for Shopify: PayPal Payout Payment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Want to auto-pay your Sellers once they mark the order as delivered\/fulfilled? <br>For this, configure <strong>PayPal Payout Payment<\/strong> in your <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/webkul.com\/blog\/shopify-multivendor-marketplace-new-theme-launched\/\" target=\"_blank\">Multivendor Marketplace for Shopify<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purpose of this feature<\/strong>: <br>This feature lets your sellers automatically receive their total earnings once they mark the order as delivered\/fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Paypal Payout is now compatible with <strong>discounted orders<\/strong> which means auto-payment to sellers is possible for discounted orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><h3 class=\"index-title\">How to configure the PayPal Payout feature?<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"margin-bottom-50\">\n<p>To configure this feature, the Admin needs to follow the steps written below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Multi vendor Marketplace<strong> Admin Panel<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Payment<\/strong> menu &amp; select the <strong>Seller<\/strong> <strong>Payment Configuration <\/strong>from the drop-down menus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal11.webp\" alt=\"dashboard\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: Whenever you update the configuration, the previous orders will not remain eligible for payout anymore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, if we make changes to the PayPal details, only the upcoming orders will be eligible for payout and not the previous ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the Seller Payment Configuration section, mark the PayPal option enable and then open payment configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal2.webp\" alt=\"paypal\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Now, the Paypal Payout configuration page is open then, Enable &#8220;AutoPay to Seller&#8221; option as shown below:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal3.webp\" alt=\"configuration\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After enabling this option, you need to enter the following details:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pay After<\/strong>: Pay to the Sellers after the order is marked as <strong>delivered<\/strong> or <strong>Fulfilled<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong><br><strong>PayPal Client ID<\/strong>: Enter your PayPal client ID<br><strong>PayPal Secret Key<\/strong>: Enter your PayPal secret key<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Save Changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><h3 class=\"index-title\">How to get PayPal Client ID and Secret Key?<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"margin-bottom-50\">\n<p>To get your Paypal Client ID &amp; Payment &gt; Seller Payment Configuration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Refer to the images below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paymet4.webp\" alt=\"admin\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/payment5.webp\" alt=\"payment\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal6.webp\" alt=\"enalbe cashable\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, the Admin needs to enter the days after which the payment will be done to his sellers for the order (order refund days) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And select whether you want to calculate the provided span of time from delivery date, order fulfillment date or order creation date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example: If you have selected delivery date &amp; mentioned refund days (pay after days) as 30 then after 30 days of the delivery date, the Sellers will receive the payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: Refund days should be greater than -1 otherwise it will not work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only after enabling this option, the Admin will have the &#8216;Pay after refund date&#8217; option in PayPal Payout Configuration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal7.webp\" alt=\"pay after refund date\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the Admin won&#8217;t be able to choose the &#8216;pay after&#8217; as delivery or fulfillment because now it will work as per configured in the &#8216;Cashable Amount for Seller&#8217; option.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><h3 class=\"index-title\">Configuration for Seller&#8217;s Panel<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"margin-bottom-50\">\n<p>To configure this feature, the Seller needs to follow the steps written below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Multi vendor Marketplace <strong>Seller Panel<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hover over the <strong>Profile<\/strong>&nbsp;menu &amp; select the <strong>Payment Details <\/strong>from the drop-down menus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal8.webp\" alt=\"Dashboard Seller \u2022 Multivendor MarketPlace\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On this page, the Seller needs to select the <strong>payment method<\/strong> as PayPal &amp; needs to enter his<strong> PayPal Email<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal99.webp\" alt=\"Payment Details Seller \u2022 Multivendor MarketPlace\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on <strong>save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is all you&#8217;ll need to do for configuring the PayPal Payout Payment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wk-index-wrap\"><h3 class=\"index-title\">Workflow<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"margin-bottom-50\">\n<p>When an order gets placed, the total amount paid by the customer will go to the Admin&#8217;s account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, whenever the Seller changes the order status to delivered\/fulfilled from his end then the Seller&#8217;s total earning will be received by him excluding the Admin&#8217;s commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Order Fulfillment Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the order is placed, the Seller will have the order in the Multivendor Marketplace <strong>Seller Panel<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Orders<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Order Listing<\/strong> &gt; <strong>View<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal10.webp\" alt=\"Order Seller \u2022 Multivendor MarketPlace\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, on the redirected page, the Seller needs to click on the <strong>Fulfill<\/strong> menu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal111.webp\" alt=\"Order Details Seller \u2022 Multivendor MarketPlace\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A pop-up will arrive, enter the required details &amp; click on <strong>fulfill<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal12.webp\" alt=\"Order Details Seller \u2022 Multivendor MarketPlace (1)\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, the Seller will get auto-paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if auto-pay is set for &#8216;delivered&#8217; case by the Admin then the Seller first needs to set the order status as delivered &amp; just after that he&#8217;ll receive the payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Order Delivering Process<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this: <strong>Seller Panel<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Orders<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Order Listing<\/strong> &gt; <strong>View<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Fulfillment Details section, click on the <strong>Enter Delivery Details<\/strong> button:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/paypal13.webp\" alt=\"Order Details Seller \u2022 Multivendor MarketPlace\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark the delivery status as delivered, enter the delivery date &amp;
