So with this module, we have come with an automated solution towards stock management.<\/p>\n<p>With this module, the admin can scan the barcode to know the total inventory of the product. After accessing the total inventory\u00a0the admin can assign the desired inventory\u00a0to an outlet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><strong> Magento 2 POS Barcode Inventory Management System is an add-on to Point of Sale System for Magento 2 (POS)<\/strong><strong>. The assigned products require the assignment of quantity as to provide a separation between the inventory of POS and online inventory.<\/p>\n<p>The admin can click on &#8216;Assign Product By Barcode&#8217; which will open up the option to assign product quantity via barcode. Where we have assigned 80 to outlet A then we can assign only 20 product to outlet B.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>POS Stock-<\/strong> This refers to the stock of the product which is dedicated to the physical store.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SKU-<\/strong> The Unique code as in default Magento 2 which represents the product. For example, any source <strong>USA<\/strong> can have multiple stores in <strong>New York, Los Angeles, Chicago,<\/strong> etc.<\/p>\n<p>These stores will be treated as <strong>Outlets<\/strong> and each outlet will be mapped or connected to <strong>Source<\/strong>. Sources are created when there are multiple inventory locations available for any particular store.<\/p>\n<p>If the admin will update the quantity of particular product for any specific outlet then the same quantity will be visible in the admin product page for that source.<\/p>\n<p>For doing this view the outlet in edit mode and assign a product using Barcode.
