WPML is a plugin which makes it possible to run fully multilingual e-commerce sites using WooCommerce and Akeneo WooCommerce WPML Integration<\/a>.<\/p>\n

WooCommerce<\/a> is an open-source e-commerce that allows you to sell anything. It is the world’s favourite shopping cart solution that gives both the developer and merchants full control.<\/p>\n

WooCommerce plugin has over 39 million downloads as a plugin and is currently active on more than three million websites and is the most popular eCommerce platform in 2018.<\/p>\n

The current market of WooCommerce is more impressive and it covers 42% per cent of the space on the entire internet. WooCommerce quickly became popular for its simplicity of installation and ease to customize.<\/p>\n

Akeneo is an open-source Product Information Management (PIM) tool that centralizes your product in one place and you can manage the product. You can import\/export products from different channels like E-commerce<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Online Marketplace<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0and\u00a0Print Catalogs<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Akeneo PIM provides the solution for centralized, product data collection, management, and filtration of the product. We export the product from Akeneo to the e-commerce channel in a single language.<\/p>\n

But when you have a multilingual website and you want to export your product<\/strong><\/a> data in multi-language. For this, you have to export the product data for each language separately<\/strong><\/a>. It will take more time and resources to export the products.<\/p>\n

However, we can install the WooCommerce WPML plugin and turn the e-commerce website content multilingual. Before WPML we were unable to export the product in Multilanguage with Akeneo. Now Webkul has introduced the WooCommerce Akeneo WPML integration.<\/p>\n

Create Product in Akeneo<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To create a product in Akeneo, go to navigate to Products and click Create button. Now, you need to choose the product type as\u2013 Product or Product Model.<\/p>\n

Export the Product to WooCommerce<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Now to export your product data you need to create a job profile and execute it. First, go to\u00a0Exports>Create Export Profile<\/strong>\u00a0and enter a unique code, label and select a job profile.<\/p>\n

After creating an export profile you can see that you can export the product in a single locale. If you are running a multilingual website then with the Akeneo WooCommerce connector you can export the product in a single language.<\/p>\n

For exporting the product to the Different locales you have to run the export job many times. It will take more time and management costs. After running the export job you can see the product in the WooCommerce store.<\/p>\n

If you select the other language like French then the product will not be shown in the product catalog.<\/p>\n

You can see the product has been exported in a single language. If you want to see the product in other languages you have to export it again. You can also check the product WooCommerce customer panel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Export the Product with Akeneo WooCommerce WPML Plugin<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Before the Akeneo WooCommerce WPML plugin, we are unable to export the product in Multilanguage with Akeneo. Now Webkul has introduced the WooCommerce Akeneo WPML integration.<\/p>\n

After installing this module you can export the product in multilingual to your WooCommerce channel. You can see that WPML is added in the WooCommerce connector setting.<\/p>\n

Now you can choose the locales and export the product details from Akeneo to WooCommerce in multi-languages. You can check the product details after exporting with Akeneo WPML integration.<\/p>\n

You can check the product also in the WooCommerce customer panel<\/strong>. If you select your product-supported locale then product details will change.<\/p>\n
