Akeneo Groups are used to bring products together. It is also used to filter the products. You can create a group of products and can use it as a template. Group types are required to create a product group.<\/p>\n

You can export the group of products with Akeneo to e-commerce<\/a> channels, Marketplaces<\/a>, and Web Print<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Example:<\/strong> If you want to show some group of products at festivals or seasonal days then you can make a group of products and can export them to e-commerce, mobile, and web print with Akeneo.<\/p>\n

Akeneo PIM provides product information management tools for managing the catalog, centralising the products, and filtration of the product.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Product Group Types<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For creating the group types in Akeneo you have to go to Setting – > Group Types<\/strong>. You can see the list of group types and can create a new group type.<\/p>\n

\"Groups<\/p>\n

To create a group from the PIM user interface, you must have specific permissions to do so. For this contact your administrator for permission. You have to enter the group code and click on the save button.<\/p>\n

\"Groups<\/p>\n

You will get different locale options by which you can translate your label code. Click on the save button and you will get the list of the group types available.<\/p>\n

Product Groups<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For creating the groups in Akeneo you can go to the dashboard and go to Setting – > Groups.\u00a0<\/strong>Here you will get all the Product Groups and create a new group option.<\/p>\n

\"Create<\/p>\n

After clicking on the create group icon you have to enter the group code and select a group type. You have to click on the save button to create a product group.<\/p>\n

\"Add<\/p>\n

Now you can see all products\u00a0created in Akeneo. Here you can add the product to the product group.<\/p>\n

\"Filter<\/p>\n

You can filter the product that you want to add to the product group. We can find the product filter grid as Group, Family, Status, Complete, Created at, Updated at, and channels.<\/p>\n

\"Using<\/p>\n

You can also filter the product with the family attribute. Now click on the filters and you will get the product family with attributes.<\/p>\n

\"Product<\/p>\n

Now you can select the product and can assign it to the product group.<\/p>\n

\"Product<\/p>\n

After assigning the product to the group you can see the product is in the group.<\/p>\n

\"Add<\/p>\n

Now go to your Akeneo product list and you can filter your products with the groups.<\/p>\n

\"Check<\/p>\n

After selecting the group you can see the product in the product list as you assigned.<\/p>\n

Create an Export\u00a0Profile With the Group<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

With the help of Groups in Akeneo, you can export the product to E-commerce channels, Marketplaces, and Web Print. You have to navigate Exports -> Create Export Profile<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now you have to enter the code, label, and export the job profile.<\/p>\n

\"Create<\/p>\n

Click on the save button to create an export profile.<\/p>\n

\"Click<\/p>\n

You have to click on the export now button to export the product group in CSV. You have to wait till the execution process is complete.<\/p>\n

\"Process<\/p>\n

Now click on the download generated files and open it you can see your product group is exported.<\/p>\n
