In order to publish an application at the Android Market, the app must be ‘signed’ with your own \u00a0‘certificate’. \u00a0This tutorial explains how to export an apk file of your Android project from Eclipse.<\/p>\n

Using a new keystore:<\/div>\n

1- Right click on the Android project you wish to export and from the context menu select Android Tools->Export Signed Application Package<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2- Select the project to export and click Next<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

3- Select “Create new keystore<\/strong>” and browse to the location you wish to store the key.<\/p>\n

4-\u00a0Give your key a file name and click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5-\u00a0Type and confirm the password you want to use for the key and click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6-\u00a0Fill all required fields and click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7-\u00a0Browse the location where apk file will be saved and click\u00a0Finish<\/b>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

8- Done<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Using an existing keystore:<\/div>\n
