1. Directory structure of prestashop<\/strong> :- Prestashop work on MVC pattern<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0M = MODEL(In prestashop classes folder is model)<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0V = View (Themes folder is view )<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0C = Controller ( and controller folder itself controller )<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Config : – Folder contain all the configuration .<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Css : – contain all the css file.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Modules:- Folder contains all Module<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Controllers \u00a0: – Folder contain two different folder<\/p>\n

1) Front (contain all controller for front ).<\/strong><\/p>\n

2) Admin (contain all controller for admin).<\/b><\/p>\n

Themes : – Folder contain default themes available for\u00a0prestashop.<\/p>\n

Directory structure of prestashop modules :-<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0For creating a \u00a0new module you just create a folder \u00a0and rename it as my module name is \u201csimplemodule\u201d then folder name is \u201csimplemodule\u201d<\/p>\n

And the \u201csimplemodule\u201d folder contain a \u201csimplemodule.php\u201d file(it is necessary to have one file with same name as folder name which will have module install and uninstall functions.)<\/b><\/p>\n

First write the code for installation in my case my module name is \u201csimplemodule\u201d hence I am writting installation code within \u201csimplemodule.php\u201d.<\/p>\n

1. simplemodule.php contain Simplemodule class which extends module class<\/p>\n

2.__contructor is the constructor.<\/p>\n

3. we use two function here install() and uninstall in<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0install function:- we call all the function which we need at the time of installation in installation function<\/b><\/p>\n

Uninstall function : we need to uninstall all the functionality \u00a0which we are install at the time of installation.<\/p>\n
