So, here i am, my self Varun Soni<\/a> & i am a professional UI\/UX Designer & the main responsible person for the Design of Qloapps<\/a>\u2014\u200aAn Open Source Hotel Booking & Reservation System.<\/p>\n

A search bar can attract your user to make him desperate to search on your site because the first thing your user find in your hotel booking site is a \u201cSearch bar\u201d<\/strong> & it\u2019s in human behaviour, you can\u2019t change it and because it\u2019s the only way for your users so, they can search anything comes to their mind about the luxury or amenities of the Hotel Room they want.<\/p>\n

Qloapps v0.9<\/h2>\n

When we launched Qloapps v0.9 back in December 2015, it was the bold move to make such a gigantic tool as an open source platform for all the hoteliers worldwide & as a UI designer it was worth a learning experience for me to get thousands of reviews about the design & off course the performance of this platform.<\/p>\n

Qloapps v1.0<\/h2>\n

The most important part i\u2019ve came to know which was lacking on v0.9<\/strong> was the \u201csearch bar\u201d<\/strong>. the search bar wasn\u2019t that much effective on that version as it wasn\u2019t attracting the user to search on it. so, we made it change in its next version which was v1.0<\/strong> so make it more user friendly.<\/p>\n

In the above version 1.0 we tried to make the search bar more bold for the user. so, that user will have the clear indication that we want his input to be get searched on our site.<\/p>\n

Transformation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Full width search bar you can make your users to keep coming back to your site to again & again to check new plans & availability of rooms.<\/p>\n

For sure other factors are always there for a good theme of any hotel eCommerce site but we cannot neglect the roll of a good & user friendly search bar in online hotel rooms booking for more conversions.<\/p>\n

So, these are the experience i have got here during all the transformations of qloapps versions.<\/p>\n
