One of the most useful function while working with Magento is Mage::<strong>getModel<\/strong>($modelClass).<\/p>\n<p>Here is how you would use it to retrieve Magento product information\u00a0<strong>Mage::getModel(\u2018catalog\/product\u2019);<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0<strong>\u2018catalog\/product\u2019<\/strong> relates to app\/code\/core\/Mage\/Catalog\/Model\/<strong>Product.php<\/strong> file. If you open that file you will see it\u2019s actually a class named\u00a0<strong>Mage_Catalog_Model_Product<\/strong>. That same class is extending the<strong>Mage_Catalog_Model_Abstract<\/strong> class meaning it inherits all of it\u2019s methods.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; $Product = Mage::getModel(&#8216;catalog\/product&#8217;);<\/p>\n<p>$Product-&gt;load(164);<\/p>\n<p>echo &#8216;&lt;p&gt;Product name: &lt;strong&gt;&#8217; . $Product-&gt;getPrice() . &#8216;&lt;\/strong&gt;&lt;\/p&gt;&#8217;; &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This  tiny code will fetch the data from the ProductID , which i set here 164  .
