OpenERP CRM Stock Management<\/a> adds product lines to CRM leads. It emails the customer and the manager when the lead products are in stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Default OpenERP CRM records a lead, but it has no place for the products and quantities a customer asks for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also cannot tell your sales team when those products are back in stock. So sales users check stock by hand for each lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This module keeps the product lines on the lead and checks stock on a schedule. When every product is available, the lead becomes an opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisite:<\/strong> the module works with OpenERP 6.x and 7.x. It depends on the OpenERP CRM module, so install CRM first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After install, lead and opportunity forms get a Product Lines<\/em> tab. The lead form also gets a Lead Type<\/em> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How to Install the CRM Stock Management Module<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    You install this module only on the OpenERP side. No other setup is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Copy the crm_lead_stock<\/strong> directory into your OpenERP addons folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Update the modules list in OpenERP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Find CRM Stock Management<\/em> and install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Configure the Stock Notification Email Templates<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Two email templates control the stock messages. Open them from Settings > Technical > Email > Templates<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Look for Manager Details – Send by Email<\/em><\/strong> and Customer Details – Send by Email<\/em><\/strong>. Both apply to Lead\/Opportunity records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
