Prerequisites For Using The Prestashop Custom Attribute Odoo Bridge <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Prestashop Custom Attribute Odoo Bridge works in conjunction with Odoo Bridge For Prestashop<\/a>. You must install this module first for the Bridge <\/strong>to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Bridge allows the export of Prestashop Product features and feature values from Prestashop to Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INSTALLATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After downloading from the link, you will get a zip file that consists of two modules. The one with the name \u2018prestashop_bridge_product_attributes\u2019 is the module to be installed at Odoo’s end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other with the name \u2018prestaerpproductsattributes\u2019 which is the module to be installed at the Prestashop end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation at Prestashop end<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To install the module at the Prestashop end. Go to the menu, select \u2018modules\u2019, and then click on the \u2018Add Module\u2019 button. After uploading the zip file \u2018prestaerpproductsattributes\u2019 of the module, install the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation at Odoo end<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Place the Module inside Odoo Addons which are available in the \u2018Odoo Module\u2019 folder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, open the Odoo and click on the settings menu. Here, click on the \u2018Activate the Developer Mode\u2019. One can also activate the developer mode by typing \u2018Debug\u2019 after \u2018web?\u2019 in the URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, open the Apps menu and click on the \u2018Update Apps List\u2019. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018Prestashop Custom Attribute Odoo Bridge\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install\u2019 to install it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WORKFLOW<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Exporting Features from Prestashop to Odoo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While synchronizing products to Odoo from Prestashop, the features and their values don\u2019t get synchronized in Prestashop Custom Attribute Odoo Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before linking features with products in Odoo, the features, and their values must be exported to Odoo’s end first from Prestashop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To export Features from Prestashop to Odoo. Navigate to \u2018Odoo Mapping\u2019 and then select \u2018Export features\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After selecting \u2018Export features\u2019 the Feature page will be opened. Once done, use the \u2018Synchronise\u2019 button to export features from Prestashop to Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Exporting Features From Prestashop to Odoo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To export Feature values from Prestashop to Odoo. Navigate to \u2018Odoo Mapping\u2019 and then select \u2018Export features values\u2019. After selecting \u2018Export features values\u2019, the Feature value page will be opened. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once done, use the \u2018Synchronise\u2019 button to export feature values from Prestashop to Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Link Product Features to the Products at the Odoo end<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To link Product features to the Products at Odoo end. Navigate to \u2018Odoo Mapping\u2019 and then select the \u2018Link product features\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After selecting the \u2018Link product features\u2019, the link Product features page will be opened. Once done, use the \u2018Synchronise\u2019 button to link features to the Products at Odoo’s end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To view the Features and Feature values at Odoo end. Navigate to \u2018Ecomm Odoo Bridge\u2019 and select the \u2018Product Features\u2019 Tab. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the \u2018Product Features\u2019 tab, you will find the \u2018Feature\u2019 and \u2018Feature Values\u2019 options. Use these options to view Features and Feature values respectively at the Odoo end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
