The Multivendor Marketplace for Shopify<\/a>\u00a0is now integrated with the SMS Gateway tools<\/strong>(SMS Alert) for sending automated messages & calls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enable the SMS Alert feature app to include this functionality in your marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose: <\/strong>Admin, as well as,\u00a0vendors will receive an SMS notification\/ IVR calls for newly placed orders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the multivendor marketplace, notification of a new order placed by the customer was sent only via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charges:<\/strong> This will cost an additional 5 USD<\/strong> per month over & above your current Multivendor Marketplace plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enable SMS Alert Feature App<\/h3><\/div>

Visit the ‘Feature app<\/strong>‘ section from your multivendor marketplace admin panel. Now, click on the enable button to install the app.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Once done, you need to accept the payment. Further, you can enable the app successfully. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configuration: Admin Interface<\/h3><\/div>

Firstly, the admin needs to set up the SMS Gateways. There are two SMS Gateways for the following feature app:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Clockwork<\/strong>: For sending automatic messages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Twilio<\/strong>: For making IVR phone calls and sending text messages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    For configuration, visit Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel<\/strong> > Orders<\/strong> > SMS Gateway Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here, you can activate both or any one of the SMS Gateways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Configuring Clockwork SMS Gateway<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Firstly, click on the three dots to activate the gateway. Refer: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once you click on the activate button, you need to enter the Clockwork API key<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Enter the key & save the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How to get Clockwork API Key?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To get the API key you have to create an account on Clockwork<\/a><\/strong> and select the plan as per your requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Configuring Twilio SMS Gateway<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    You can activate the Twilio SMS Gateway by clicking on the three dots. Refer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once you’ll click on the activate button, you’ll be asked to enter the Twilio SID<\/strong> & Auth Key<\/strong>. Enter these details and save them to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
