Odoo Geolocation IP Redirect<\/a> improves user experience by automatically adjusting the website’s language and currency based on the visitor’s location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This helps customers feel more comfortable and makes navigating the site easier, enhancing their engagement with the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Odoo Geolocation IP Redirect allows admin to configure multiple geolocation APIs, track their performance, and restrict access to specific IP addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Customers can view the website content in their native language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. It enables the admin to map countries in the backend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Admin can add custom website URL with external redirect option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Admin can set the pricelist for the internal redirects. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. It automatically adjusts the currency based on visitor location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The admin can restrict access to specific IPs or countries on the back end.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. It can automatically detect the IP location of the visitors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Admin can track API hit rate and view daily API key responses. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. The pop-up wizard provides an option to select a country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Once you purchase the app from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the module zip file<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. After the download finishes, extract the file on your system. You will see a folder named \u2018geo_location_ip_redirect<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018geo_location_ip_redirect<\/strong>.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. The module will appear in the search results. Click on \u2018Install<\/strong>\u2019 to install it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Workflow<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      1. Firstly, login to the Odoo Instance,<\/strong> go to Settings,<\/strong> and then click on Website. <\/strong>After scrolling down to Geolocation IP Redirect<\/strong> enable it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        2. To configure the options for GeoIP, navigate to the Website<\/strong> >> Geoip<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        3. You can map the country, by clicking on Country Mapping<\/strong>. Select the country from the drop-down menu and map it accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. You can choose the redirect type either Internal<\/strong> or External.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        5. By effectively utilizing internal and external redirection in Odoo Geolocation IP Redirect<\/strong>, you can create a more engaging and effective website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        6. When choosing the Internal Redirect<\/strong> type, the admin can select the country, pricelist, and language for that specific redirection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        7. The currency will automatically be set based on the selected country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        8. While choosing the External Redirect<\/strong> option, the admin can select the country and add the customer URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Visitors from the selected country will be redirected to the custom website URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        9. You can also restrict users from specific countries by adding the IP Address<\/strong> or selecting the country<\/strong> as shown in the screenshot below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        10. You can add multiple GeoIP APIs <\/strong>for different websites. Make sure to validate the API response and ensure it is confirmed and active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Note<\/strong>: If the API is not active, the website will display the default mapped country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        11. You can also view the API response and history once you have added the URL. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        12. With Odoo Geolocation IP Redirect, customers can view the available mapped countries on the website, enhancing their browsing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Customers from any mapped country will be redirected directly without seeing the pop-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        While those from unmapped countries will be redirected to the default country selected by the admin in the Odoo backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
