Generally, the customers look forward to multiple options while purchasing something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to POS, generally cashier is not allowed to customize order according to the customer\u2019s desire which causes less satisfaction. <strong>Odoo POS Order Customization <\/strong>is here to solve your problem; the module allows the cashier to customize the product\/orders as per their customers wish. Moreover, the cashier can also charge some extra amount as per product customization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lets&#8217; understand Odoo POS Order Customization with an example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suppose, you visit a restaurant and want to order a pizza but you like pizza with extra cheese and the restaurant doesn&#8217;t offer order customization. In such case, you are more likely to go for a restaurant which can offer you choice to customize your order as you want; like the veggies you want, extra cheese or not, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FEATURES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The module lets POS users customize orders according to customers&#8217; need and desire.<\/li><li>A cashier can charge some extra amount as per order customization.<\/li><li>The price of the product will be auto-adjusted on the basis of selected customization options.<\/li><li>The selected customization options will display both on POS receipt or ticket as well.<\/li><li>The selected customization options for the product will also be saved in the backend.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1.) Once you purchase the Odoo POS Order Customization module From Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.<br>2.) Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- <strong>\u201cpos_order_customization\u201d.<\/strong><br>3.) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<br>4.) Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.<br>5.) Then, open on the Apps menu and click on the <strong>\u2018Update Modules List\u2019.<\/strong><br>6.) In the search bar, remove all the filters and search <strong>\u201cpos_order_customization\u201d.<br>7<\/strong>.) Now you will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on <strong>\u2018Install\u2019<\/strong> to install it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WORKFLOW<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Back-end<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Login to your Odoo database and then navigate to the POS module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Now click on the &#8216;<strong>Configuration<\/strong>&#8216; tab and the select &#8216;<strong>Questions<\/strong>&#8216; menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/download-2020-05-13T133928.712-1200x565.png\" alt=\"Click on the configuration.\ngo to question or question group. \nTo POS order customization.\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click on the &#8216;<strong>Create<\/strong>&#8216; button to create a new question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/download-2020-05-13T134335.267-1200x571.png\" alt=\"Create a new question from this tab.\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;(i) Add the name of question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;(ii) Use<strong> \u201cAvailable In Question Groups\u201d <\/strong>feature to add that question in any question group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;(iii) Add extra price for this customization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/download-2020-05-13T135153.404-1200x569.png\" alt=\"Create a new question to POS order customization.\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Now navigate to create or configure the question group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(i) Add name for question group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(ii) In the <strong>\u201cForced Questions\u201d <\/strong>tab by clicking on <strong>\u201cAdd line\u201d <\/strong>&nbsp;more questions can be add in this question group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/download-2020-05-13T152037.643-1200x560.png\" alt=\"Create and configure the question group and add the questions by clicking on the &quot;Add a line&quot;.\n\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Select any product you want to add to the questions while selling it in POS. After that, add the questions in &#8216;<strong>Question group<\/strong>&#8216; section<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdnblog.webkul.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/download-2020-05-13T152223.762-1200x571.png\" alt=\"Add the question group to a product.\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Front-end<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Resume a POS session and then click on any product which has question group. Now, it will ask you for customization along with their extra price. By clicking on the<strong> &#8216;i&#8217; <\/strong>like icon, you can see the question group as well.
