In order to make things easier for the customer while placing the order at POS, it is important to know the choices of the customer. For instance-  If a customer places an order for a Pizza, then the counter boy may ask him \u201cSir, would you like to have extra cheese with the pizza\u201d wherein the customer will reply according to his taste and preferences. Odoo POS Forced Questions is the right way to let your customers add the \u201cextra stuff\u201d in the basic product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Examining this situation, introducing you to our module Odoo POS Forced Questions which is used to ask multiple forced questions about the choice of customers like extra cheese,  veg or non-veg, double or single toppings, etc before adding the product in POS. Consequently, the implementation of Odoo POS Forced Question will tell you about the different tastes and preferences of multiple customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. In Odoo POS Forced Question<\/strong> module, you can modify the answers even after adding the product to the cart<\/li>
  2. Seller has the authority to change the question from the backend.<\/li>
  3. The answer will be printed on the receipt (POS BOX and POS TICKET)<\/li>
  4. The selected answer for the product will also save in backend.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    1. Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.<\/li>
    2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- \u2018pos_forced_question<\/strong>\u2019.<\/li>
    3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.<\/li>
    4. Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing \u2018debug\u2019 after \u2018web?\u2019 in the URL as well.<\/li>
    5. Now, open the Apps menu and click on \u2018Update Modules List\u2019.<\/li>
    6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search \u2018pos_forced_question<\/strong>\u2018.<\/li>
    7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on \u2018Install\u2019 to install it.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      WORKFLOW<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Back-end<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      1. Log in to your Odoo database, and navigate to the Point Of Sale.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        2. Now, go to configuration, here under the \u2018Forced Questions\u201d there are two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        (i). Questions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        (ii). Question Groups<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \"Go<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

        3. Here, you can see the list of question groups. Moreover, to create a new question group click on create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. Firstly, add the name of the Question Group, in the \u2018Add A Line\u2019 you can add multiple questions under this question group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \"Configure<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

        5. Here is the list of all the questions list. You can create new questions by clicking the \u2018Create\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        6. Add question name and associated question group. You can associate a question to multiple question groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \"Name<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

        7. Now, you can launch the POS session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Front-end<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        8. When you will click the \u201cProduct\u201d and it will ask your food choice like vegetarian or non-vegetarian etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        9. Click on the next option to choose the \u201cDressings\u201d  and select the option according to your customer\u2019s taste and preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        10. Again click on the third option to \u201cStuff\u201d and choose one of the options according to your customer\u2019s preference from the forced question window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        11. Now jumping on to the next product, Click on \u201cCold Drinks\u201d and the forced question window will display then choose options according to the customer\u2019s likings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        12. Any modifications can be done in the answers even after submitting the choice. When you click on the \u201ci\u201d icon, a window of forced questions will appear again which allows you to do necessary modifications in your orderline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        13. Receipt view with the forced questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        14. If you want to create Question Groups from the backend, follow the path > Forced Questions>Question Groups>Create. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The selected question group will appear on the product form(refer to the below screenshot).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
