Multivendor Marketplace app for Shopify<\/a>\u00a0App is a great tool to convert your shop into a fully functional marketplace. It facilitates the process of adding sellers and keeping track of their sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we have introduced the additional feature called “Manage discount on order” in our Multivendor Marketplace App which enables the admin to manage discounts on orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to manage a discount on orders you simply have to choose the option ” Manage discount on orders” from the orders configuration section of the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So let’s understand its workflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before proceeding to manage discounts on orders, you first need to Create discounts from your Shopify store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shopify admin>>Discounts>>Create Discount>>Save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secondly, you need to set the Commission from the “Commission” section of the Multivendor Marketplace App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multivendor marketplace>> Commissions>> Seller commission settings>>Add commission to seller>>Click on save<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workflow for Managing Discount on Orders<\/h3><\/div>
\n

<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Enable the option “Manage discount on order” from the seller payment configuration section of your admin panel of the Multivendor Marketplace App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multivendor Marketplace Admin Panel >> Go to Payment >> Seller Payment Configuration >>Payment Setting >> Enable the option “Manage discount on order”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now after enabling the Manage discount feature, you will get 2 options i.e. Discount charges and Commission calculated on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discount Charges: <\/strong>From here you can choose who will bear the discount on the order i.e. Admin or Seller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commission calculated on:<\/strong> From here you can choose on which price you want to calculate commission i.e. On the Actual Order Price or On Discounted Price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discount on Shipping:<\/strong> From here admin can manage who will bear the Shipping discount admin or seller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AND YOU WANT TO CALCULATE COMMISSION ON ACTUAL ORDER PRICE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you set “Discount Charges” to Seller and “Commission Calculated on” to On Actual order price then the discount that you have given to the buyer <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the commission which you are charging from the seller will be deducted from the Total seller’s Earning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So whenever customer place an order, you can see the Total seller earning details from here as shown below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configuration>> Orders >> Order Listing >> Click on View button from “Action” section in front of order ID>> Order detail page will open>> Here you can see Seller earning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. IF SELLER IS BEARING THE DISCOUNT<\/h3><\/div>

AND YOU WANT TO CALCULATE COMMISSION ON DISCOUNTED PRICE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you set “Discount Charges” to Seller and “Commission Calculated on” to “On Discounted price”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

then the discount that you have given to the buyer and the commission (will be calculated on discounted price)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

which you are charging from a seller will be deducted from the Total seller’s Earning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please Note:-<\/strong> If there is any discount found in order then all order amount will go to admin only and you have to pay the seller manually ( in case if you enable PayPal).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So whenever a customer places an order, you can see the Total seller earning details from here:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configuration>> Orders >> Order Listing >> Click on View button from “Action” section in front of order ID>> Order detail page will open>> Here you can see Seller earning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. IF ADMIN IS BEARING THE DISCOUNT<\/h3><\/div>

AND YOU WANT TO CALCULATE COMMISSION ON ACTUAL ORDER PRICE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you set “Discount Charges” to Admin and “Commission Calculated on” to On Actual order price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because admin is bearing the discount so commission charged from a seller will be deducted from the total seller’s Earning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So whenever customer place an order, you can see the Total seller earning details from here:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you set “Discount Charges” to “Admin” and “Commission Calculated on” to “On Discounted price” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

then here only commission (Calculated on discounted price) will be deducted from the Total seller’s Earning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So whenever a customer places an order, you can see the Total seller earning details from here:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configuration>> Orders >> Order Listing >> Click on View button from “Action” section in front of the order ID>> Order detail page will open>> Here you can see Seller earning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:*<\/strong> Please note Discounts will be managed for both taxable products as well as non-taxable products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of display sales price commission will be calculated on the actual price only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“No One” Option for Discount Charges <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

By selecting the “No One” option, the admin ensures that both the commission and earnings are calculated based on the discounted price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This simplifies the calculation process and ensures consistency in determining the commission and earning amounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compatible with Wallet Management App for Discount Feature<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Wallet Management app <\/a>is now compatible with the Multi-vendor Marketplace app<\/a> for Shopify. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wallet Management app<\/strong> allows merchants to offer discounts to the customers via wallet. Now, if you have enabled the configuration “Manage Discount on Orders<\/strong>” in the Multi-vendor app then, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the discount offered to customers via Webkul Wallet will be managed in the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The amount paid via wallet will appear in the invoice for each order placed on your store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PLEASE NOTE:-
<\/strong>If you have already downloaded the invoice or if you have saved the previous invoice template <\/p>\n\n\n\n

then the “Pay via Wallet” option will not appear in the order invoice both on the seller invoice as well as the customer invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If any of the above is the case, you can either reset the template on your own or send a request <\/strong><\/a>for the same. We will do it for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
