We have launched Stripe Connect payment gateway in the Multivendor Marketplace<\/a> app for Shopify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where now after the customer pays the amount for the order, the amount will go to the respective Seller and Admin account directly as per the share configured based on commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both admin & seller needs to have their respective Stripe accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This feature is available at a cost of USD 10 per month over and above your monthly plan. And you can use marketplace shipping or any other shipping of your store with this feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE<\/strong>: If you as Store Owner sell products, then you have to become Seller to get Payment through Stripe Connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stripe Payment Method works in the case of Gift Cards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the admin will receive the whole payment, and it will not be auto-split between vendors and the admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The admin then further needs to transfer the vendor’s share separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– This will not work in the case of Custom Product & Gift Card Product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

POINT TO REMEMBER<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If customers apply a discount code to their order, the full order amount is sent to the admin\u2019s Stripe account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Admin will be responsible for sending the seller’s earnings to his account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE<\/strong>:- If you are using the older version of Stripe API (before 2019-08-14), make sure to upgrade it to the latest version. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum & Maximum Charge Amount<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The minimum amount you can charge 0.5$ and the maximum is up to eight digits (e.g., a value of 99999999<\/strong> for a USD charge of $999,999.99). Learn more<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firstly, enable the app from the Feature App section.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Once you click on the “Enable” button, you need to agree on additional charges which are USD 10 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stripe Account Types<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Also, you need to choose the Stripe account type of your sellers while configuring the Stripe details in the app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the account type whether Standard<\/strong> or Express<\/strong> that the seller is using with Stripe. Know more<\/a> about the Stripe accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE<\/strong>:- You can\u2019t change the account type to Express if the seller is already connected to the Standard Stripe account and vice versa.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, enter the details like Secret key, Publish Key and Client ID and then click on save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You need to log in to your Stripe Account to get the above keys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Secret key” and “Publish key” you will get from the “API” section of your Stripe account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Client ID” you will get from “settings > Connect Settings” of your Stripe account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, to connect the seller’s Stripe account to your stripe account copy the code from the “instruction for the marketplace” section of the configuration menu in the app,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

paste into the “Redirect URI” section of your Stripe account, and make this default as shown in the following screenshot:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admin end>> Configuration >> Instruction for marketplace >> Visit “Stripe connect” section>> Copy the given code to connect the seller’s Stripe account to your Stripe account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now open your “Stripe account” and paste the code in the “Redirect URI” section and make it default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to Settings>> Connect Settings >> Redirects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Code Pasting<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

You will find the codes under Multivendor Admin Panel<\/strong> > Configuration<\/strong> > Instruction for Marketplace<\/strong> > Under Stripe Connect<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connect seller Stripe account to your Stripe account by pasting these codes in the given template files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copy the code from the Instruction for Marketplace<\/strong> section into Redirect URIs<\/strong> inside account applications settings (Visit Stripe Account<\/a>). The code will look like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admin needs to create the stripe connect payment name from Shopify store settings to add Payment Name for the checkout page. Please follow the below steps:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Admin panel of Shopify store>Settings > Payment Providers>Visit “Manual Payments” section>click “Create Custom Payment Method” from drop down>Enter Payment Method name>Click on the “Activate” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note:- Name of your custom payment method should be the same as the name of Stripe Payment name. (Which you have entered from the “Checkout payment method” section of the multivendor app)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This way you can create the payment method which the customer will select at the checkout page once added by the admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Checkout extension for Stripe Payment method: Payment Option on the Thank You Page<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Note: Shopify’s Additional Script has been deprecated and will be removed at any time.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
To address this, we have implemented a checkout extension for Stripe. 
When a customer places an order and selects Stripe as their payment method. They will be redirected to the Thank You page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A popup will appear on the Thank You page notifying the customer that “Your payment is incomplete. Click here to complete and confirm your order”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once the customer clicks, they are redirected to the Stripe payment page to complete their payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To set the stripe New checkout method, the Admin needs to navigate to the Shopify Backend >> Setting >> Checkout >> Click on the customize button from the configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the redirected page, select the Thank You page from the dropdown menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the checkout page, a customer can choose the “Stripe Connect” payment method to pay for the order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stripe Payout Payment<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Purpose of this feature<\/strong>:
This feature lets your sellers automatically receive their total earnings. Once they mark the order as delivered\/fulfilled\/pay after the refund date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the case of Stripe Payout, according to the order status (delivered\/fulfilled\/pay after the refund date) set by Admin, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seller\u2019s earnings move from the admin\u2019s Stripe account to the seller\u2019s Stripe account, and Stripe handles this transfer directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After that, based on the payout settings configured by the seller in their Stripe dashboard, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
the Multivendor Marketplace App manages the transfer of funds from the seller\u2019s Stripe account to their bank account.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note:<\/strong> The stripe payout feature is not compatible with two countries that is Brazil & India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Limitations of stripe payout<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
1) Balance must be available in the seller connector stripe account.
2) Enable Manual Pay on the seller’s Stripe account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How to configure the Stripe Payout feature?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
To configure this feature, the Admin needs to follow the steps written below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
