needs, from retail and clinics to accounting firms and factories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After picking a plan, a customer gets a subdomain on dooxpress.com or connects a domain of their class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why dooXpress Needed an Odoo SaaS Subscription Platform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>dooXpress wanted to give every customer a dedicated Odoo instance and charge for it as a recurring subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For that, it needed one place to create instances, sell plans and collect payments on each billing cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Low prices also meant the servers had to stay under control, since many customer instances share the same hardware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without limits, one busy instance could take more than its share and slow down others on that server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Backups were a further concern, because each plan promises weekly or daily copies of customer data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doing those backups one by one would take up more of the admin&#8217;s day as the service grew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Webkul Built the Odoo SaaS Subscription Platform for dooXpress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul set up the Odoo SaaS subscription platform behind dooXpress and shaped it around how the service sells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The base is the <a href=\"https:\/\/store.webkul.com\/odoo-saas-kit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Odoo SaaS Kit<\/a>, which creates and manages a separate Odoo instance for each customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On top of it, Webkul built <a href=\"https:\/\/webkul.com\/odoo-customization-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">custom features<\/a> for server resources and backups that the standard setup did not cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dedicated Odoo Instances with Recurring Stripe Billing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Every dooXpress customer gets a dedicated Odoo instance, which the platform sets up once a plan is bought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To handle plans and billing, Webkul added the <a href=\"https:\/\/store.webkul.com\/odoo-saas-kit-subscription.html\">Odoo SaaS Kit Subscription<\/a> module and the modules it relies on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stripe then collects each payment, so recurring charges run for monthly, yearly and two-year plans alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this setup, instance class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Does dooXpress Keep Each Instance Within Its Server Resources?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>dooXpress keeps each instance in bounds through a custom resource flow that Webkul built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With it, the admin assigns server resources to each customer instance and sets fixed limits for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system tracks how much each instance uses, so the admin can spot heavy users early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When an instance goes over its limit, the platform can restrict access to that customer&#8217;s interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In turn, one customer cannot drain a shared server, and dooXpress keeps its costs in line with its prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Easier Backup Management Across Customer Instances<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul also changed the backup process so the admin can manage customer backups with less effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new flow gives better control over each customer&#8217;s backups from the same admin area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, keeping backups in order across many instances takes far less manual work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results of the Odoo SaaS Subscription Platform for dooXpress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>dooXpress now runs a low-cost Odoo service where setup, billing, resource limits and backups work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That gave the team room to take on new customers, and it has since onboarded more businesses onto the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Server resources stay under control, so small plans remain affordable without one account affecting the
