shows the points a buyer earns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bundle offers sit alongside it, so one order can carry more than a single kind of discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behind the storefront, De Kammieshop runs Odoo ERP, an Enterprise Resource Planning system, for its back office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why De Kammieshop Needed a Custom OpenCart Odoo Integration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Orders already moved from the storefront into Odoo, but the discount side of an order did not survive the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bundle discounts and redeemed reward points were missing, so the Odoo order total did not match OpenCart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tax figures drifted with those totals, and the finance team had to correct documents by hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Payments were the second problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shop takes iDEAL, PayPal and card payments through Mollie, and the money rarely lands on the order date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of that timing, a matching attempt that ran too early failed and then stayed failed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tracking was the third gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff answering a customer query knew the OpenCart order number, not the matching Odoo reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding the right sales order, invoice or bank entry then meant checking several screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Webkul Extended the OpenCart Odoo Integration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul reworked the connector that De Kammieshop already used rather than replacing the setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work covered four areas: discount sync, payment retry, order number search and payment matching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each change sits inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/webkul.com\/blog\/opencart-odoo-connector\/\">Odoo Bridge for OpenCart<\/a> that moves orders between the two systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Does the OpenCart Odoo Integration Sync Bundle and Reward Point Discounts?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It reads both discount types from OpenCart and records them in the Odoo order as separate lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul changed the order sync to fetch the bundle discount and the redeemed reward point discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Because each one becomes its own order line, the Odoo total and the storefront total now agree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tax is then worked out on the same base in both systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finance no longer edits an order to explain a gap that the sync itself created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Automatic Retry for Mollie and PayPal Payment Reconciliation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mollie and PayPal payments now retry on their own instead of failing after one attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul extended the reconciliation logic so an unmatched payment is tried up to five times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reconciliation cron moved to alternate days, which spreads those attempts across about ten days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delayed payments then clear without anyone watching the queue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anything still unmatched after that window can be reconciled by hand using the storefront order number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OpenCart Order Number Visibility in Odoo Sales Orders and Invoices<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The OpenCart order number is visible on the Odoo sales order and on the invoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It already sat on the sales order, so Webkul kept it there and added it to invoices where it was needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the number appears as a column in the list views for both documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also works as a search and filter field, so a single lookup finds the right record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An agent can move from a customer email to the matching invoice without guessing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order Number-Based Payment Reconciliation in Odoo Journals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>That same reference now drives payment matching on the accounting side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul carried that reference through the sales order to invoice flow so it reaches Odoo journals intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It shows in journal and list views, and staff can search it there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matching uses the bank statement reference that Mollie and PayPal already supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, automatic and manual reconciliation both work from one number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results of the OpenCart Odoo Integration for De Kammieshop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Order totals in Odoo match the storefront, and delayed payments settle without manual chasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discounts arrive as data rather than as a gap that somebody has to explain later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the retry window absorbs the normal delay in Mollie and PayPal payouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finance and support share one reference, and it is the number a customer already quotes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/webkul.com\/odoo-development\/\">Odoo development<\/a> team built each change on the connector that was already in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bundle and
