The site, lucein.it, sells top lighting brands like Flos, Artemide, Kartell, and Foscarini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To make shipping more accurate, Luce In asked Webkul to build a custom free shipping workflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case study, we will analyze how Luce In utilized\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/store.webkul.com\/Prestashop-Avail-Free-Shipping.html\">Prestashop Avail Free Shipping <\/a>module\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/webkul.com\/prestashop-development\/\">Prestashop Development service<\/a>\u00a0to provide efficient Shipping to their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current Market of the Lighting Industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandviewresearch.com\/industry-analysis\/lighting-market-report\">Grand View Research<\/a>, The global lighting market was valued at $142.5 billion in 2025. It is projected to grow from $149.1 billion in 2026 to $225.6 billion by 2033.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Italy&#8217;s B2C product e-commerce market reached \u20ac42.6 billion in 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within that, the Furniture &amp; Home Living category, which includes lighting, reached \u20ac4.9 billion, with an average order value of \u20ac152.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PrestaShop Avail Free Shipping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/store.webkul.com\/Prestashop-Avail-Free-Shipping.html\">PrestaShop Avail Free Shipping<\/a> module allows store owners to offer free shipping to customers based on flexible, custom conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Store owners can define a minimum cart value for free shipping, set rules based on price and weight range, and restrict free shipping by product, category, zone, country, or customer group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this module, merchants can also display a free shipping message until the cart is empty, factor in discounted prices when checking eligibility, and choose to show or hide tax and handling charges on the cart or checkout page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luce In uses our Avail Free Shipping module to validate free shipping at the cart level and display the free shipping label across pages of its <a href=\"https:\/\/store.webkul.com\/Prestashop-Select-Customer-Group.html\">store<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Problems Faced by the Luce In<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Luce In used the default PrestaShop Avail Free Shipping module. It let admins set free shipping rules by product, category, zone, carrier, or customer group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But there was a gap. If a customer added even one non-eligible product to a cart that already had free-shipping items, the entire cart still shipped free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luce In needed the system to check the whole cart, not just individual products. They wanted shipping charges to be accurate every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution Provided by Webkul<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Webkul customize how the Avail Free Shipping module checks a cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of checking products one by one, the module now checks the entire cart. If every product in the cart qualifies for free shipping, the customer gets free shipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a customer adds even one product that doesn&#8217;t qualify, the whole cart switches to paid shipping. This happens automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shipping charges are then recalculated using Luce In&#8217;s own rules. These rules are based on selected products, cart value, and weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Luce In fixed its core shipping problem with help from Webkul. The main win was accurate, cart-level shipping validation, so customers are never charged incorrectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a bonus, the free shipping label now appears in more places across the store.
