Founded in 1960, Bricokeys is a brand of the family business SAMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They offer a wide range of hardware items including door and window handles, door accessories, locks, Lithofin floor care products, PETKIT connected products for cats, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have thousands of references stored in French warehouses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this case study, we will explore how Bricokeys improved customer satisfaction and drive more sales<\/a> using Webkul\u2019\u00a0Preorder\u00a0and\u00a0PrestaShop Development Services<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecommerce in Monaco<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ecommerce in Monaco is on the rise. With a population of 38,897, Monaco is a small, but valuable consumer market with a growing ecommerce sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apparel, beauty & fitness, home & garden, etc are some of the categories that generates significant sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the top ecommerce sites in Monaco are amazon.fr, monavislerendgratuit.com and vente-privee.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PrestaShop Preorder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

PrestaShop Preorder<\/a> allows online store owners to sell out of stock and upcoming products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The module enables potential customers to place order for the products that are currently not available for immediate purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Store owners can display a countdown timer on product page to keep their customers informed about the exact days and time after which product will be available for purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bricokeys deals in a vast range of hardware items and are based in Monaco which is a micostate. Sometimes, it may happen that their products go out of stock and they have to arrange the inventory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bricokeys wanted to incorporate preorder feature into their online store so they can allow their customers to reserve and purchase products in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0For this, they purchased our PrestaShop Preorder module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, they can sell the products on their site that are not in stock at the moment but will be in stock at a specified date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customer Requirements of Client<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bricokeys had one one custom requirement for which they contacted us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By default, PrestaShop Preorder module sends an email to the customers once the product is back in stock so the customers can complete the preorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They wanted to add a button named “Complete Preorder Now” in the same email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So if customers click on the button, they will be redirected to the PrestaShop store and the preorder product will be added into the customer’s cart with the remaining amount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Bricokeys, Preorders proved to be a powerful tool for increasing sales and growing their eCommerce business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
