iMax Shop\u2019s Data Management Challange<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Managing data is a crucial challenge for any business process according to your needs. Sometimes, it’s easy to manage the data, but sometimes it becomes a hurdle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, iMax Shop was struggling to manage the data in its business operations. They were managing their store in Magento as frontend and Odoo as backend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, they contacted us regarding connecting Magento and Odoo. We recommend our Multi-Channel Magento 1.x Odoo Bridge(Multi Channel-MOB)<\/a>, which has the feature of import and export function between Magento and Odoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then demand for iMax Shop increased as they wanted to customize the same module based on specific requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenges in Integrating Magento and Odoo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

iMax Shop was facing challenges in integrating its Magento storefront with the Odoo backend. Our main goal was to ensure the correct data sync process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main concern was the creation of duplicate customer records in Odoo based on VAT and Fiscal Code. They wanted to customize the module so that it would not create a duplicate record if VAT and Fiscal Code were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iMax Shop also needed help correctly mapping customer addresses. They wanted us to customize the module so that they could map the addresses of customers based on city, state, zip code, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another big challenge for iMax Shop was handling orders with missing product information. This often led to incomplete orders and dissatisfied customers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
