WooCommerce development services<\/a> helped them enhance their revenue by optimizing their customers’ shopping experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenges Faced By AAB Boutique<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AAB Boutique wanted a way to offer gift cards to customers shopping at their physical store location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an boutique selling unique, handcrafted items, they recognized that gift cards could make great items to give as presents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, their existing point-of-sale (POS) system<\/a> did not have built-in functionality to sell gift card products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without a gift card solution integrated into their POS, they had to use manual processes like recording gift card sales separately which caused errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make things efficient on their POS they contacted Webkul to resolve their issues via UVdesk ticket support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrating WooCommerce POS Gift Card Plugin<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

WooCommerce POS Gift Card<\/a> Plugin allowed AAB to offer a professional, integrated gift card option on their POS Terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This allowed them to create actual gift card products in their WooCommerce POS that could be sold directly through the POS terminals used by staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers could also conveniently purchase gift cards at the physical store and receive codes via email to use the balance later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The below image shows the Gift Card as a product being sold at a fixed rate or a discount<\/a> via a POS Terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AAB could now set all the rules for the gift cards like the card value, expiration dates, loyalty points<\/a> and whether the full amount had to be used at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following image shows the shopper’s cart items<\/a> before applying gift card with the total amount which has to paid by the shopper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When customers are ready to pay, the staff could simply apply gifted balance from gift cards against the total at checkout through the POS terminal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Customer can also use Customer Checkout POS<\/a> to place its own order without going to the store’s POS agent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following image shows the revised amount that has to paid after applying the gift card code and entering security key available to the a card holder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
