WooCommerce POS NF525 Certification – User Guide

WooCommerce POS French NF525 Certification: This module helps the admin to facilitate digitally secure Point Of Sale transactions according to French Law. It verifies the order receipts and order invoices by digital signature.

The digital signature will be visible in the order receipt and order invoice. Thus, the admin can keep a track of the Point of Sale orders that are verified.

This plugin helps the store owner to provide an attested and accurate order invoice to their customers.

Note: To use this POS French NF525, you must install the Webkul WooCoomerce Point Of Sales System, first as this module is an add-on to the WooCommerce Point of Sale extension.

Installation of WooCommerce POS NF525 Certified

Firstly, the user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel.

For this, you need to login to WordPress Admin Panel and Under the Dashboard hovers your mouse over the “Plugins” menu option which brings out a Sub-Menu and then selects the “Add New” option.

Further, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, click the option to upload the zip file.

After clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.

After browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

Moreover, when the plugin installation is complete correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the plugin.

Admin Configuration-WooCommerce POS NF525 Certified

After successful installation, The admin can configure the module by navigating– Point of Sale>Settings>General Settings

Here the admin has to enable the status of the French Certificate Addon and click on the Save General button.

The admin can also disable the status of the module as shown in the below screenshot:

Now the admin has the option to showcase the French certificate in three formats: as both QR code and text, as a standalone text, or as a standalone QR code.

Whenever the status of the module will be disabled, the certificate will not be not generated.

Note: If a POS sales agent is placing an order and the module is enabled at this time then the order will be verified according to French law.

Whenever a mouse hover will be on the verified button then the digital signature with a unique id will be displayed in the verified orders.

POS Workflow- WooCommerce POS NF525 Certified

The POS Sales Agent will add a product to the shopping cart for the customer to place an order.

After placing it successfully the POS Agent can print the invoice for that order as shown below:

To print the invoice the sales agent has to click on ‘Print Invoice‘ button. The order invoice will display with the French Certificate attached to it.

Similarly in the sales history option, the POS Sales Agent can print the order invoice by clicking on the “Print Invoice” button.

The sales agent can find a digital signature on the order invoice that is verified according to French law.
