Hybrid Mobile App for WooCommerce

Hybrid App for WooCommerce will convert the website on default Woocommerce to a hybrid app.

It uses the theme of the website and could be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple Store.

The app provides the customer view of the website.

The app will allow the customer to shop for the products from an app that will operate on the smart devices in their hand.

We have used flutter technology to build this app. So that the single code base can run both apps (Android & IOS).

Moreover, the app follows the latest technology of Flutter wherein one can use Dart to build a mobile app.

Note-

• Your website theme should also be responsive.
• The pages here are as per your default Woocommerce store which changes as per the website.

For installation, the user will get a zip file which he has to upload in the “Add New” menu option in the WordPress admin panel.

For this, login to WordPress Admin Panel, and Under the Dashboard hover your mouse over the “Plugins” option inside the menu which brings out a Sub-Menu, and then select the “Add New” option.

After this, you will see an option on the top of your page that is “Upload Plugin”, click on that option to upload the zip file.

After clicking on the “Upload Plugin” option, below that you will see a button “Choose File” click on the button to browse for the zip file as per the snapshot below.

Post browsing the file, click the “Install Now” button to install the plugin as per the snapshot.

Now, when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin. Click on “Activate Plugin” to activate the installed plugin.

After receiving the prerequisite information, your e-commerce hybrid mobile apps will be instantly developed and will be published on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

You can publish your mobile apps either from your own account or choose Webkul’s Google Play and Apple App Store account. So, you can get the APK and IPA files post development of the app.

Now, let us walk through the Woocommerce Hybrid Mobile App and see all the features and functionalities it has.

The homepage of the application opens up after the splash screen. The homepage comprises a list of products, Menu Option, Sorting Option, Profile Detail Option, Search option, and Cart.

The customer can purchase the product for this section by clicking on ‘Add To Cart’.

Product

The customer can click on a product to view details of that particular product. Through product page, the customer can get Add to cart option, and Edit the quantity of product.

This section comprises the information of the app user for easy information saving and utilization in the longer run.

Registration/ Login

The customer can register or sign in to the application using this page. They just need to enter their e-mail address in order to register in the application as per the default Woocommerce configuration.

Here the password is sent to the respective customer’s e-mail address. The customer can modify the password later on.

The customer can even login the application from this section once they are registered. Here, for that, they just need to enter the username and password related to the account.

The customer can click on the Navigation button to open up the menu section. Hence, enabling an easy navigation for the customer.  This section mainly comprises of- Home, Cart, Checkout, My Account and Upcoming Event options.

Cart

The customer can simply select the desired products and add them to cart which will appear in this section that is Menu> Cart. However, we are having an additional button of the cart on the Menu Bar.

Checkout

After adding the product to the cart. The customer can move to the checkout process where the customer can select Payment and Shipping Method.

Note – All the payment methods that are available on the Woocommerce web store will be visible on the mobile app as well. Hence avoiding the requirement of separate module/integration work.

In Order to find the product quickly the menu bar has an option search which saves the customer time to look for the desired product in the complete application.
