INTRODUCTION

Odoo Attribute Extra Images for a better user experience!

Customers want a good user experience, especially when they are browsing products. Customers need the desired color for a particular product they are searching for.

However, showing the attribute name is not enough for customers who want to view the product they are choosing.

Hence, to enrich the user experience and provide a better attribute view to customers, we created Odoo Attribute Extra Images.

Moreover, the module allows you to add images for each product attribute. Also, you can add multiple images for the same product attribute. In addition, you can merge images of different attributes.

FEATURES

• You can enable/disable the attribute extra images setting from the backend.
• Also, you can enable the merge images setting from different product attributes.
• Add images for product attributes from the attribute settings.
• Odoo Attribute Extra Images also allows you to add multiple images for the same product.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘wk_ptav_images.’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘wk_ptav_images.’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Let me tell you how to configure the Odoo Attribute Extra Images module.

CONFIGURATION

1. Go to ‘Website> Configuration> Settings,’ locate ‘Attribute Extra Images,’ and enable it.

2. If you want to merge attribute images, enable the ‘Merge Images’ setting too.

3. Move to the ‘Website> eCommerce> Products’ sub-menu and create a product or open an existing one with attributes.

4. On the product page, open the ‘Attributes & Variants’ tab, add attributes, and click the ‘Configure’ option.

5. On the next page, open any attribute and add an image to it.

6. Click the ‘Add’ button next to ‘Attribute Extra Images’ and upload the image. Click again if you want to add more attribute images.

7. Firstly, the customers can view the primary product image if the module is disabled from the backend on the website.

8. On the other hand, the module will show only one attribute image at a time if the module is enabled from the backend.

9. Similarly, if you have enabled the merge images setting, it will show the merged images of all attributes.
