User Guide for CS-Cart Vendor Business Hours

CS-Cart Vendor Business Hours add-on allows vendors to configure their business hours for each day of the week and automatically displays their current availability to customers.

When a vendor is unavailable, customers can still browse the vendor’s profile and products, while purchasing options are restricted until the vendor becomes available.

The add-on also allows vendors to display a customized availability message along with the vendor’s next opening time.

Note: Before installing the add-on, extract the downloaded package.

1. Install the License Manager add-on first.
2. Then install the required add-on.
3. Follow the license activation steps to generate your license key.

• Allows vendors to configure business hours separately for each day of the week.
• Automatically determines the vendor’s current availability based on the configured schedule.
• Displays the vendor’s availability status on the storefront.
• Keeps vendor products visible even when the vendor is unavailable.
• Allows customers to view product details while the vendor is closed.
• Prevents customers from adding products to the cart when the vendor is unavailable.
• Prevents customers from placing orders for products belonging to unavailable vendors.
• Displays an availability message on the vendor profile page.
• Displays the availability message on product pages.
• Allows vendors to customize their availability message.
• Supports displaying the vendor’s next opening/available time.
• Allows administrators to manage vendor business hours from the admin panel.
• Administrators can view and modify vendor schedules.
• Automatically updates the vendor’s availability according to the configured schedule.

After downloading the CS-Cart Vendor Business Hours add-on, you will get the ZIP file along with the installation files and user guide.

First, log in to the CS-Cart administration panel.

Go to: Add-ons → Manage Add-ons

Click on Manual Installation, depending on your CS-Cart version.

Click on “Local” to browse the zip file, and then click on “Upload & Install” as shown below in the snapshot.

Once uploaded, CS-Cart Vendor Business hour addon will be shown in the addon list.

The store administrator can configure and manage the business hours for individual vendors from the admin panel.

To configure the vendor’s business hours, navigate to: Marketing → Vendor Business Hours

Here, the administrator can select the vendor for whom the business hours need to be configured.

After selecting the vendor, the administrator can configure the opening and closing hours for each day of the week individually.

1. Product Unavailable Message

This field allows you to configure the message displayed to customers when a product is unavailable because the associated vendor is currently closed.

Use the {time} placeholder to dynamically display the vendor’s next opening time.

If the field is left empty, no unavailable message will be displayed on the product page.

2. Vendor Unavailable Message

This field allows you to configure the message displayed to customers when the vendor is currently unavailable.

Use the {time} placeholder to dynamically display the vendor’s next opening time.

If the field is left empty, the unavailable message will not be displayed on the vendor profile.

Vendors can configure their business hours from the vendor panel.

To configure the business hours, navigate to:

Marketing → Vendor Business Hours

From here, the vendor can define the opening and closing time for each day individually.

The add-on automatically checks the vendor’s configured business hours against the current time.

For example, if a vendor has configured:

Monday: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM

And the current time is 02:00 PM on Monday, the vendor will be considered Available.

If the current time is 07:00 PM, the vendor will be considered Unavailable.

The availability status is determined automatically without requiring the vendor to manually change their status.

When the vendor is available, customers can browse the vendor’s products and purchase them normally.

When the vendor is unavailable, the products remain visible on the storefront.

Customers can still:

• View the vendor profile.
• Browse vendor products.
• Open product detail pages.
• View product information.
• Check product images and descriptions.
• However, purchasing functionality is restricted while the vendor is unavailable.

Customers will see an “Unavailable” message on the product page when the vendor is currently unavailable.

The add-on allows vendors to display a customized message whenever their product is unavailable with the availability time.

If the vendor is closed for the current day, the system can display the next available business day and time according to the configured schedule.
