This is a marketplace add-on for Opencart, it enables buyers to choose USPS Shipping (United States Postal Service) as one of the shipping methods for their purchases. The admin can install this shipping add-on from its back-end configuration.

USPS is one of the largest shipping companies in the United States.The main advantage of using this shipping method is its ability to calculate shipping rates according to the seller’s product weight and its store location. This add-on supports domestic as well as international shipping services.

Please Note: – In order to use this add-on, the admin should install Opencart Marketplace module first.

Note:

1. This module supports all templates and themes including the Journal theme.

2. Opencart Marketplace USPS Shipping module supports the Multi-Store feature of default Opencart.

The admin can enable or disable the USPS Shipping method.
A customized name can be set for this shipping method which will appear on the front-end.
Admin can set the type of the container and its size.
Average dimensions of the package can be set from the back-end.
This shipping method supports different weight classes – pound, kilogram, ounce.
The admin has an option to add tax class rules to this shipping method.
Dynamic shipping method for freight calculation.
Admin can select various domestic and international shipping services.

To install this marketplace add-on please follow each and every step carefully. After downloading the zip file, extract its contents to your computer and then select opencart product version folder.

Now select your specified product version folder, then you need to copy both admin and catalog folders into the opencart root folder directory as shown in the below screenshot.

After copying both folders, log in to your Admin account in opencart and click Extensions menu option as shown below.

This is the Extensions settings page here you can find all list of opencart extensions. Here you have to go to the drop-down menu and select the Shipping option as shown in the below screenshot.

Also, After selecting a Shipping menu option, a new page will appear where you will find all the list of shipping extensions, you will find Webkul Marketplace USPS Shipping extension in the list click the Install button as shown in below screenshot.

After successfully installing the USPS Shipping add-on click Edit button to make changes to this extension.

After clicking the Edit button, you will arrive at the Webkul Marketplace USPS Shipping configuration page. Here the Admin has to provide all the necessary details as follows:

Method Name – The title will appear on the front-end for the buyers on the website during the checkout process.

User ID – This Admin has to enter it’s USPS User ID.

Zip Code – This will be the Admin’s store Zip code.

Domestic Services – Using a multi-select option, select all the available USPS domestic services for buyers.

International Services -By using a multi-select option, select all the available USPS international services for buyers.

Size – Select the size of the delivery package either Regular or Large.

Container – Also, select the shape of the package container as Rectangular, Non- Rectangular, or Variable.

Machinable – Select either Yes or No to enable this shipping method for Machinable products.

Dimensions – Enter the minimum allowed dimensions for the products to use this shipping method.

Delivery Date & Time – Select Yes or No to display delivery date and time on the front-end to buyers.

Weight Class – Also, select default weight unit for this shipping method.

Tax Class – Select any tax class rule for this shipping method.

Geo Zone – Also, select any of the one geographic zone from the drop-down menu for this shipping method.

Status – Set this to Enabled to provide this shipping method to buyers or select Disabled to remove this option during checkout process.

Sort – also, set the order view of this shipping method using numeric value, (0 – being the top).

Debug Mode – Set this to Enabled to allow to receive error reports and logs.

Also, Don’t forget to click the Save button on top right of the page. Please view below screenshot for any assistance.

After Saving you settings, USPS shipping method will appear during the checkout process on the Front-End.

After entering the delivery details, the Delivery Method option appears on checkout process, where the buyer selects Marketplace USPS Shipping.

Buyer can select any one of the available shipping services using radio button as shown in below screenshot. The buyer can also add custom delivery instruction or note for its product.

On the Confirm Order step, you can see the selected USPS shipping service name and its price as shown in below screenshot.

After placing the order the buyer can view their order information in My Accounts > Order History.

Order History page will open where it will show you all the orders made so far, click View button as shown in below screenshot.

After arriving on Order Information page, it will show you all the details about your specific order.

The seller can also view their order information for their products sold under Sell > Order History. The seller can add the tracking number and send the tracking number to the buyer so that they can track their order.
