Opencart Move To Wishlist
Notes: The customer must log in to their account to view the Wishlist Button.
If the product is already on the wishlist, then that product will not have the Wishlist button.

Features Of Opencart Move To Wishlist Module
- The customer can move their cart products to the wishlist.
- The customer can view the wishlist button in my cart and shopping cart page.
- The admin can hide/show the wishlist button for the shopping cart page and cart individually.
- The admin can set the wishlist button for out of stock products.
- When the customer will remove the product from the cart, it will ask for “add this product to wishlist or not”.
- The customer can add the product to their cart from the wishlist.
Installation Of Opencart Move To Wishlist Module
Installation of the Opencart Move to Wishlist module is very simple. You need to move the Admin and Catalog folder into the Opencart root.
After uploading the Admin and Catalog folders to the root directory, login to admin and from catalog section go to Extensions> Extension installer and upload the xml file. The xml file can be found on the ocmod folder under module directory.
After uploading the XML file go to the Extensions => Modification and click on refresh field.
Now navigate to Extensions => Modules to install and edit the Opencart Move to Wishlist module.

Admin Configuration Of the Opencart Move To Wishlist Module
After installation of the module, the admin can configure the module by clicking on edit button. The admin can configure the following option:
Show Wishlist Button On Cart: It can be set as yes or no. If the admin set it as yes, then the customer will be able to add the product from cart to their wishlist.
Show Wishlist Button On Shopping Cart: It can be set as yes or no. If the admin set it as yes, then the customer will be able to add the product from shopping cart to their wishlist.
Show Wishlist Button Only On Out Of Stock Products: It can be set as yes or no. If the admin set this option as yes then the customer can view the wishlist button for only out of stock products else the customer can view the wishlist button for all of the products.
Customer View
The customer can view the wishlist button on the shopping cart page and the cart section. After clicking on wishlist button, the cart product will move from shopping cart to wishlist. The customer can see the wishlist item in their wishlist and can add the wishlist product to their cart.
If the admin configures the option “show wishlist button in cart” is yes then the customer can see the wishlist button in the cart.
If the admin configures the option “show wishlist button in shopping cart” is yes then the customer can see the wishlist button in the cart as shown in the below screenshot.
When the customer will remove a product(for which wishlist button appears) from the cart, a pop up will come there and ask “Do you want to move this product in your wishlist” yes or no. If the customer will click on yes then the product will move to customer’s wishlist else the product will get removed from the cart.
When the customer will click on wishlist button, the product will move to the customer wishlist. The customer will receive a message after clicking on wishlist button as shown as below.
