INTRODUCTION

By default in Odoo POS, when the same product is added multiple times in the POS cart then that product will appear in a separate order line. With the help of the “Odoo POS Merge Same Products on Adding” Module, different order lines for the same products will merge together.

Odoo POS Merge Same Products on Adding allows you to merge different order lines of that product, which is added multiple times in the POS Cart. Also, The increased quantity of the product will be shown in the same order line.

For Example: In your POS store, a customer purchased 1kg of oranges and also 1kg of apples, by default POS separate order line will appear when a customer adds 1kg oranges more. With the help of this module, instead of different order lines, the same order lines appear on the POS screen.

INSTALLATION

Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘pos_merge_lines.’
Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘pos_merge_lines.’
You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
