INSTALLATION
- Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
- Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘odoo_news_ticker’.
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
- Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
- Now, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’.
- In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘odoo_news_ticker’.
- You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
WORKFLOW
- Once the installation is completed, visit the Odoo website backend and follow the path News Ticker>>News.
- Here, a new window will open. Click on the Create button to create a news from the backend.
- Enter the title, news, sequence and text colour to create a news ticker and save the information.
- Now follow the path News Ticker>>News Group and create a newsgroup.
- Create groups by entering the title, direction, display type, etc. Enter the title, news, sequence, and text color to create a news ticker.
Frontend View
- Here, at the shop page drag and drop the snippet to add the news ticker on your Odoo website.
- They can even set the place to set snippets on the website as per their choice.
- Therefore, you will be able to display the news ticker on your Odoo website and make it attractive.
