Buying products online can be a tough task sometimes for customers especially when they want to buy related products. This idea of cross-selling is a very beneficial concept in the eCommerce environment. Odoo Frequently Bought Together Products module helps you to get expertise in the cross-selling technique.

Suppose you purchase a mobile phone and along with that, you have also the need to buy headphones or a phone cover. This module allows you to display these related products on the product page that can compel customers to buy them.

Also, it helps you to increase your sales and profits too. As the Odoo Frequently Bought Together Products module enables you to provide the desired products right on the product page and helps you increase sales and profits.

FEATURES

The module can display the list of the products that customer’s frequently purchased with the related product.
It adds any number of frequently bought products in the list of the products.
If the number of products is large, the products will be displayed with the slider.
It allows the customer to select the products according to their choice.
The total price will be changed according to the selected products.
The text of the product can be customized.

INSTALLATION

Once you have purchased the module from our Webkul store, you will receive a link to download the zip file of the module.
Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘frequently_bought_together_products’.
Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
Now, open the Odoo and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode. You can activate the developer mode by typing ‘debug’ after ‘web?’ in the URL as well.
Now, open the Apps menu and click on the ‘Update Modules List’.
In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘frequently_bought_together_products’.
You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Once you install the module, its time to follow the steps given below:

Visit the Odoo website app from the backend. Click on the ‘Webkul Website Addons‘ tab.

Under the ‘Sales Promotion’ tab, click on the ‘Configuration’ button besides ‘Frequently Bought Together Products’ option.

A window will open. Write the Header Message, Add to Cart Button Text to view on the frontend.
Click on the tick button to activate the default product selection process. After enabling it, the user will be able to add or remove the product from the selection list.

After saving the configurations, navigate to the Products >> Products tab.

Select any product for which you want to add similar products that could be frequently bought together with it.

Under the eCommerce tab, you can products that you want to display under ‘frequently bought together products’ tab. After that, click on the ‘Save‘ button.
