INTRODUCTION

Go Paperless with Ease: Streamline Your Shipments with Odoo DHL Express PLT Extension!

Odoo DHL Express PLT Extension users can upload documents, during the pick-up process before shipping is confirmed, especially for dutiable shipments.

They can use a pop-up wizard to select and upload multiple documents by choosing the document type, browsing files from their device, and clicking ‘upload’.

After uploading, they can view a list of all uploaded documents showing their types and sizes, with admins having the ability to delete documents from the list.

Prerequisites For Using Odoo module name

The Odoo DHL Express PLT Extension works in conjunction with the following module:

You must install this module first for the Odoo DHL Express PLT Extension to work.

FEATURES

The Paperless Trade(PLT) option is available to add the document within Odoo.
With DHL Express PLT Extension, users can upload images for dutiable shipments within Delivery.
Users can upload multiple documents for one shipment.
Choose the type of document and browse from the local device.
Users can also upload documents before creating a shipment.
A Pop-up wizard will come to upload the documents.
View the list of uploaded documents with their chosen type and size.

INSTALLATION

Once you purchase the app from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the module zip file.
Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- dhl_plt_extension.
Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Apps List.’
In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘dhl_plt_extension’.
You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Once the module is installed at your end, the option for uploading the document will be seen in the delivery.

After the delivery is created, open the delivery “upload images” option is available.

Click on the “upload images” option, and a Pop-up wizard will come up. You need to choose the document type from the drop-down menu.
Users can browse the document from the local device. And hit the upload button.

All the uploaded documents will be listed along with their chosen type and size under the attachment tab within the delivery.
As shown in the screenshot. You also have the option to delete the uploaded document.
