1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive a link to download module’s zip file.
2. Extract the file on your system after download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘wk_payment_chapa’.
3. ’Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate Developer Mode.
5. Then, open Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘wk_payment_chapa’.
7. You will be able to see module in the search results. Click on ‘Activate’ to install it.

Configuration of Odoo Chapa Payment Acquirer method

1. From your Odoo backend, navigate to Website → Configuration → Payment Providers. Here, find Chapa and click to enable/configure it.

2. Once Chapa is enabled, go to the Credentials tab. Enter your Chapa public key and Chapa Secret Key in the provided field to connect Odoo with your Chapa account. 

3. Now go to the website and add products to the Cart, and then click on Go to Checkout.

Then, here you will see the Chapa payment method, which we had already configured in the backend and published.

4. After clicking Pay Now, you are redirected to the Chapa payment page. Enter your billing information and card details, then click next to complete the payment.

5. After successful payment, the customer can review the complete order details on the confirmation page.

6. Go to Website → Customers → Payments to view the completed Chapa transaction.

The backend shows all details, including payment method, amount, provider reference, customer info, and transaction status as Confirmed.
