Odoo Celebration TV app module turns Android TV into a hub of joy and recognition for the organization. This module helps display many milestones to remember and celebrate on Android TV.

You can get updates about the events that will held in the upcoming days or the events occurring on the same day. 

The notices section will display the events or tournaments held some time ago and the achievers of that particular tournament. 

It will show the birthdays and work anniversaries. It will help build the culture and get to know each other more specifically.

Prerequisites For Using Odoo Celebration TV App

The Odoo Celebration TV App module works in conjunction with the following module: Odoo Celebration Board

You must install this module first for the Odoo Celebration TV App to work.

INSTALLATION

1. Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘celebration_tv_app’
3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘celebration_tv_app’
7. You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

CONFIGURATION 

1. For using this module first of all install the “Odoo Celebration Board” in your Odoo apps.

2. To connect your TV with Odoo, open developer mode go into “Technical settings” then find System Parameters under the Parameters section and click on it.

3. Now open “wk_tv_app.access_token”.

4. Then a key and value are generated, with the help of this key & value you can connect your TV to Odoo.

AFTER CONFIGURATION

5. After installation, open the “TV App” module, and here you can create or modify Celebrations for birthdays, work anniversaries, Marriage Anniversaries, Onboarding, etc.  Under the “Celebrations” Tab.

6. Admin can create new celebrations by clicking on “New” and entering details like- Celebration Type, Employee Name, Template, Start date & End date and uploading a banner.

7. After Publishing the created celebration it will be shown on our Android TV.

8. After installation, open the “TV App” module, and here you can create or modify Notices for upcoming events, guidelines, achievements, Board meetings, etc.  Under the “Notices” Tab.

9. Admin can create new Notices by clicking on “New” and entering details like- Employee Name, Start date & End date, and uploading a banner.

10. After publishing the created notices, they will be shown on our Android TV.
