Features

Installation
- Once you purchase the App from the Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
- Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. As a result, you will be able to see a folder named- ‘odoo_invoice_digitization’
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
- Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
- Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’
- In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘odoo_invoice_digitization’
- You will be able to see the module in the search results. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
Workflow
- After installing the Odoo AI-OCR Document Digitization Invoice module, navigate to the OCR Pipelines. Open any record to check the extracted Invoice data.
2.Open the record to view details like the name, OCR template, source, document, and extracted JSON. Click Create Record to save it in Odoo.
Additionally, you can edit, download, or delete the PDF file from the upload document.
3. To check or create templates, go to the Configuration tab and select OCR Templates.
4. To create a new template, click New in the top-left corner of the screen. This opens a form where you can specify the details and customize the template according to your needs.
5. Customize your invoice template by editing field mapping. Add keywords, set data formats, and adjust field types, labels, and default values for accurate extraction.
6. Click Dry Run (as shown in Step 5) to upload a PDF for data extraction. After extraction, click Create Record to save it in Odoo.
7. Once you click Create Record, the data is saved, and you can view the newly created record.
8. You can also perform a dry run directly from the invoice dashboard. Click the drop-down arrow next to “New” in the top-left corner, and select the “AI” option to extract data.
